quincey hodgesyeah if you look at the numbers…cousins isnt that impressive except against the cup cakes..against the unc and uconn front line not so much. im still holding judgement on favors untill gt plays some good bigs as well. just like i held judgement for wall untill he played against good comp( good comp meaning future pro talent nba o top level euro)..so right now i have tiny and favor in the same boat
wall
henry close second
boynton
lance

quincey hodgesi have a question…should other freshmen or players who are putting up better numbers or the same numbers while playing in a bad conference and against cup cake competition also be in the disscussion?

JNixonParticipantYea, I’d say so. I think Gallon and Cousins production is over-shadowed by their lack of defense and low basketball IQ’s. Both have plenty of offensive gifts, but they spent alot of times in their coaches doghouses. You have to watch them play and look beyond box scores to get a true evaluation of those two.

quincey hodgesneed both of them to go hard all the time… im not too worried about there bball iq since most freshmen bball iq is pretty low..id be more worried if they were jr’s or sr’s

JNixonParticipantYea, that’s what holding them back though right now…I think their mistakes are due to inexperience and they will be gone for the most part as soon as next year.
