TarHeelRavenParticipantLeslie Mcdonald has been cleared by the NCAA to play and must pay back $1,783 to a chairty of his choice for receiving improper benefits. I don’t know if Mcdonald should step right into the shooting guard spot next to Marcus Paige since UNC has been playing so well and they seem to have great chemistry right now. I know that UNC will welcome the outside shooting of Mcdonald and it gives them another three point threat besides Paige. It wil be interesting to see how Roy utilizes Mcdonald off the bat

Moon RiverParticipantAndy Katz (via twitter) said there was no update for PJ and the NCAA is not reviewing his reinstatement because they have yet to receive the request to reinstate him from North Carolina. Strange.

TarHeelRavenParticipantThe chances PJ returns this year are slim to none. It’s really really sad that he acted like a complete moron over the summer and he is now paying the consequences. He was an elite talent that threw away a really good college career. Who knows where he will be drafted since he is likely to enter the NBA draft after this season.

If UNC hits their free throws all season, it is possible they are sitting at number 1 right now.
It is really amazing to hear Roy say that PJ is the most dominated player he has ever coached in practice. Really makes one wonder just how good this UNC team could be.

rickybobbyParticipantUNC is working with PJ and his family to settle a few unresolved issues before asking for reinstatement. They are expecting a resolution by the end of this week. Hopefully in PJ and UNC favor.
