i will sit here and try to plan out Lebron’s perfect team players, coaches and fan base

    1. Robin- the 2nd option IMO Chris Bosh perfect compliment to James
    2. Point Guard- Knock down 3 point shooter not afraid of the big game most important LeBron trust him IMO Stephen Curry
    3. Knock down shooters- Guys who knock down 3’s and who play hard IMO these 3 guys Danilo Gallinari, Daniel Gibson and Channing Frye
    4. Defenders- inside and out wings who can run wit LeBron and Bigs who can play pick and roll IMO Ronnie Brewer, Ronnie Turiaf and Joakim Noah
    5. The 3rd wheel every team needs a big 3 James, Bosh and IMO Johnson are a great big 3

    Depth Chart
    C- Noah/Turiaf
    F- Bosh/Frye
    F- James/Gallinari
    G- Johnson/Brewer
    G- Curry/Gibson

Coach- Gregg Popovich he gets the best out of his players and runs a classy organization perfect for egos

Fan Base- Golden State Warriors they get amped and LeBron would get that crowd even more hype Oklahoma City was a close 2nd followed by Portland

Any opinions and if you minus me tell me why add anything too.

Yea that would be an ideal team but you obviously cannot get all those players on a team, best bet if you want that foundation is get Bosh to come to New York with Lebron, sign Felton as your PG and you have Gallinari as the guy hitting threes, can’t get Johnson though obviously but would still be a solid team, and no way possible to get Curry not even a S and T because GS loves Curry.

Too bad New York couldnt get him last year and move Curry’s deal they could’ve had Gallinari, Bosh, James, Johnson, and Curry that would of been great

I know they passed on Jennings and Curry for Jordan Hill who they wound up trading, what a shame, Jennings would also worked well with James, Bosh and Gallinari. Yea they gotta dump Eddy Curry’s contract, is this next season his final one or am i wrong?

HD_The_Kid:Stephen Curry was picked by GSW so was not available at 8 so stop saying he was over looked by the NYK who had the #8 pick

They Did got these guys in trades last year and just got Shaq as a mid season buyout minimum pickup.

PG Kirk Hinrich. the bulls pretty much gave him away for cap space, Great defender/ leader, good Shooter
SG Kevin Martin. if the Cavs offer a 10 mil exp, JJ and Pick 30 before Houston they probably get the deal done
PF Troy Murphy would be available if Mo williams was offered, just look at how bad the pacers want a pg

That Cavs Team Probably beats Boston.

    PG Hinrich/ West or Gibson
    SG Martin/Parker
    SF James/Moon
    PF Murphy/ Varejao
    C Shaq*/Z

*bought out mid season, earning Vets minimum.

He’s done in 2011 but they didnt pass on Curry they passed on Jennings Curry got picked right before so I think LeBron should still go New York should save some money and then get Carmelo in 2011 James and Anthony are Jordan and Pippen IMO could put great role players around them

Lebron’s PG also has to be a good defender so they don’t have to switch up defences like they do with Mo Williams.

Honestly, the Nets are almost the perfect team for LeBron. They have a solid starting C in Lopez who could very well be his Robin, a spot-up shooter/defender in Lee, depth at PF in Yi and Favors and a coach in Avery Johnson who has shown the ability to rapidly improve a team.

Devin Harris is more of a scorer than pass-first but LeBron plays a point forward anyway so I think a scoring PG would suit him more. Not sure about Harris’ defensive capabilities but he had his best year benefiting from the attention Vince Carter received so I can’t see why he couldn’t do it again with LeBron.

More importantly, they are young enough that when they get to the top in a year or two they could stay in contention for the entirety of LeBron’s contract assuming they can stay together.

And yes, pet peeve that people keep saying Knicks passed on Curry. The Knicks fans in the crowd were furious when Golden State stole him from under their noses, if he was available we would definitely have been picked up.

I wasn’t aware you needed a certain amount of points to contribute to this site.

I see you ignored TaylorCondrins post, maybe because he completely roasted your idea.

I think Chris Paul + Lebron would be completely unstoppable in transition. New Orleans might be more willing to listen to trades right now considering how well Collison played while Paul was out, but I don’t know what Cleveland could possibly offer to entice them. Maybe they could get Collison (still a big upgrade) and Okafor for Gibson, Varejao, and Jamison. I’m definitely not a trade guy, but something where they can get a young uptempo PG and a good post player, while getting rid of an older big with a large contract (Jamison).

When I look at Cleveland one thing that jumps out at me is that they’re really a fairly old and unexciting team outside of Lebron.

    Team Roster
NO. NAME POS AGE HT WT COLLEGE 2010 – 2011 SALARY
    1 Daniel Gibson PG 24 6-2 200 Texas $4,088,500 – Low ceiling, but serviceable
14 Daniel Green G 23 6-6 210 North Carolina $457,588 – Maybe he can develop, but he has a long way to go
21 J.J. Hickson PF 21 6-9 242 North Carolina State $1,429,200 – Probably their best young player with the most potential
    11 Zydrunas Ilgauskas C 35 7-3 260 $925,000 – Pack it up, you’ve had a good run.
    23 LeBron James SF 25 6-8 250 $15,779,912 – We get it. You’re the prodigal son.
4 Antawn Jamison PF 34 6-9 235 North Carolina $11,641,095 – Buy a suitcase, your time is near.
    15 Jamario Moon SF 30 6-8 200 $3,000,000 – Can still jump and shoot the occasional spot-up 3, but he’s already 30
    33 Shaquille O’Neal C 38 7-1 325 LSU $21,000,000 – Pack it up, you’ve had a legendary run.
    18 Anthony Parker SG 35 6-6 215 Bradley $2,644,231 – Buy a suitcase, your sister is hot.
    44 Leon Powe PF 26 6-8 240 California $855,189 – I like Leon, but those knees don’t like him
3 Sebastian Telfair PG 25 6-0 175 $2,500,000 – High ceiling if you believe the hype from 7 years ago
17 Anderson Varejao PF 27 6-11 260 $6,363,636 – Solid, but unspectacular. Good rebounder, good motor.
    13 Delonte West SG 26 6-3 180 Saint Joseph’s $4,254,250 – F*cking crazy. It’s certifiable.
31 Jawad Williams F 27 6-9 218 North Carolina $736,420 – I liked him at UNC, but that’s the only jersey I remember him in.
2 Mo Williams PG 27 6-1 190 Alabama $8,860,000 – He isn’t a bad player, but he is really just a 6-1 shooting guard running the point.
