Lebron traded for two first rounders and two second rounders…

Dan Gilbert will forever now be known as the man that traded away Lebron James.

Very true, but at least they got something for him.
No offense to Cavs mgmt, fans etc. but they had 7 years to surround him with a 2nd All Star and a better supporting cast.
They failed and the fact that Miami, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles all have better rosters made this an easy decision.
Cavs wouldn’t have won anything with Lebron and would be paying hiim max money.
Now make some smart moves and pick up some young talent in trades, drafts etc.
All these teams have trade exception GM needs to make and try to push Jamison, Mo Williams, Varajeo, Gibson and even Jamario Moon for young players.

    So
    2011 30th and 60th pick
    2012 or 2013. 30th. And 60th pick

Better then getting nothing maybe we can get a hidden gem out of the picks.

Sources told ESPN that Toronto reacquired its first-round selection in 2011, which Miami had from a 2009 trade that sent Shawn Marion to the Raptors, and added the Heat’s own first rounder in 2011.

Miami then sent its first-round picks in 2013 and 2015 to the Cavaliers and Cleveland has the option to swap first-round picks in 2012.

Both the Raptors and the Cavs will receive trade exceptions valued at $14.5 million, sources told ESPN.com.”

Im very impressed with what BC did here.Somehow he managed to get next years picks for more immediate value.Im pretty sure the first year is going to be more of a learning curve for this Miami team so that will be the highest pick Miami owned.Great job IMO.Also he got the highest draftpick available by reacquiring Toronto’s.

Im surprised Cleveland didnt recieve the rights to Minnesotas pick aqcuired by trading Beasley.
