What if Lebron decided to take a pay cut to bring on Wade to the Cavs? He reportedly signed a billion dollar nike liftime deal. He is ultra rich already.

    Kyrie, Wade, Lebron, Love, Thompson

That was their first offer. Now that KD has made his decision, they offered him the $20 million he wanted. We’ll see if he accepts it tho…

Offered and agreed are two different things. Lebron signed a life time contract with Nike for a billion. You don’t think Lebron and Wade are talking on that yacht in Ibaza you’re trippin.

That sounds nice but how will they make it work? Would the cavs be willing to give up Kevin Love just to acquire aging Dwyane Wade? That’d be a stupid move on Clevelands part tbh.

The funny part is…the best basketball in that scenario would probably be a lineup of Kyrie, Wade, JR, Bron, Thomson with Love off the bench.

"Taking a pay cut" still wouldn’t be enough to sign Wade to anything more than the $3.5 mil exception unless it’s an absolutely massive pay cut.  The two ways Wade ends up in Cleveland are:

    1. LeBron and Wade each get roughly $8 million.  I have a very hard time seeing either guy taking that little.

    2. Wade signs a 3 year, $60 million deal (with no opt out) and is sign-and-traded to Cleveland for Kevin Love.  I have a hard time seeing this happening either.  The team losing the player in a sign-and-trade almost always gets left with relative crap compared to the player they’re losing.  In this case, Miami is probably winning the sign-and-trade by getting a better, younger player.  I know Wade is LeBron’s friend, but I have a hard time seeing Cleveland pulling the trigger on this.
