I agree, I think he stays in Miami and gives Riley the opportunity to continue to add talent around him. He’s been to the finals the last 4 years so I think Riley has shown that this is possible. I also think that he likes the stability of living there and Miami has the climate to attract big names. Income tax doesn’t hurt either.

Not that shocking. He puts pressure on Wade, Bosh to do the same and restructure their deals and on the Heat to improve the team. Doesn’t necessarily mean he’s going away, but if he’s not happy with what’s going on he leaves other doors open

he’s making this announcement a week before he was scheduled….maybe he’s giving the heat a chance to make move before the draft and he’s hoping wade & bosh follow his lead and also opt out…so the team can add players…..

Until they opt in, I’ll continue to believe they all opt out and take less money so that Miami can make a run for a guy like Kyle Lowry.

Think this means Bosh will opt out next (he has said he’s willing to take a pay cut to stay in MIA).

So now all of the pressure will lie on D Wade. What will be more important 40m Guarenteed or maybe 25-30m and a shot at continuing their run to the finals. I think in the end D Wade gives in but with 2 Kids, another one on the way, a divorse and a potential new marriage coming is this guy willing to pass on 10-15m with this possible being the last big pay day he has coming? I think he will and all 3 re up for the next 2 years at a lower rate, then in a Lebron move he will enter his next free agency with a class that includes Kevin Durant.
