BKKnicksfanParticipantI think we all saw what just happened. LeBron closed out Boston with two late 3’s and a dunk to put the cherry on top. I always had LeBron number one in my top 50 list, but now we have to add he does have that shark in him and he did come through in a late game moment. I want to ask a couple questions however:
- Is Dwyane Wade the second best player in the NBA?
– I’m beginning to think so for a couple reasons. In terms of slashing, there’s noone better. While Rose simply attacks, Wade can attack on both sides and he can do it off balance and everything. When I look, only Dwight Howard is the other player I contend could mess with Wade for that second spot.
- Was this LeBron’s " Jordan vs Detroit" moment?
– People forget, the Celtics knocked James out twice, both in years they could have won the title. Can you say about this with James?
- What’s next for Boston?
– Really, what is next?

DanEboyParticipantDear Ray Allen,
Please opt out of your contract and come to Chicago.
Thanks,
Dan

goneParticipantYea I can see the Heat winning now..
I can’t fathom the 1st and 2nd best player on the same team so I cant answer that. However if you’re moving Wade up and it seems your doing the same for Howard where is Kobe then?
Lebron showed alot this is probably his best playoff performance given all the hype, expectations etc etc. This could be a turning point in his career
The Celtics arent really done because Rondo had one arm, if they can bring Jeff back for a resonable price, and get a big body from somewhere I dont see why they cant contend again next year

PAUL125Participantwhere the haters at?

BiggysmallsParticipantWhy do you have to say "where the haters at"…that kind of attitude doesnt naturally draw people to you or endear you to people. Be gracious in victory and defeat.
I myself was rooting for Boston, and I personally dislike the Heat greatly, but damn they are tough. Wade was fantastic in the first half, he attacks, he rebounds, he is a ball hawk, and even when everybody knows it, he still finds a way to come away with steals. How he makes some of the shots he makes is completely beyond me.
Lebron was amazing, his jumpshot has improved so much, and he really has improved at playing off the ball. It still isnt natural for him, but I think he is improving that skill every day, its scary.
Props to the heat for winning a hard fought series…even though it was only a 5 game series, all of those games were hard and a possession here or there couldve changed just about all of them.

boxn1ParticipantGood Job Miami closing out tonight,it was a big step. As hard as that was, the challenge is greater next round further. People truely need to appreciate championships because it is not easy at all.

oden07Participantwell i have seen a couple people say that lebron rode wade but wade didnt do much in the 4th lebron put all the nails in the celtics coffin, lebron is the best player in the NBA and there is truly no doubt

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI can’t say DWade is the 2nd best player just yet. Yeah, we saw a weak performance from Kobe in the playoffs and an extremely strong performance from Wade thus far.. but I want to see what Kobe has left in the tank at the start of next season before I put him as 3rd or even 4th.
This was most definitely LeBron’s "Jordan vs Detroit" moment. Will it be followed by rings like Jordan? The way Miami is playing at both ends, it could be.
Boston is going to go about this offseason much like last offseason and the offseason before it. Continue to add old players and stay unathletic. They will continue to play this traditional style of basketball while the league is changing extremely fast.

BKKnicksfanParticipantIMO
- LeBron James
- Dwayne Wade
- Dwight Howard
- Kobe Bryant
That’s my top 4.
