act2ParticipantLeBron James is obviously a very skilled player. His skill set is probably the best in the league right now. The problem with him is that he believes his own hype. His mental capacity will not let him adjust to the fact that someone else is the man. He says all the right things. He is a great passer. But he has got to be the man for him to succeed. The abuse he receives is brutal. He has been bred to be King James all his life. When he is King James he is criticized. When he isn’t King James he’s criticized. There takes a certain amount of mental toughness to endure off the court scrutiny he goes through. But he put that on himself. He’s King James, the chosen one. My advice to LeBron. Shut up, check your ego at the door, add a post game and a sweet spot for you mid range game. Play hard every game. Stop lisenning to Skip Bayless and be King James, Don’t act the part. You can be unstoppable.

WizardofOzParticipantMy advice for him is to lose weight. The guy’s like 270-something. You don’t need to be that big to play SF, especially if you’re a post player, and it noticeably slowed him down. His drives in the half-court were in slow-motion. That’s why he was being so passive. He couldn’t get by his man AT ALL, and if he drove to lane, it would probably result in a turnover or a charge.
In Game 1, he really did check out. I can’t even blame his severely diminished athletic abilty on that poor performance. It looked like he didn’t give a sh!t! He lacked any aggression, and was passing up open shots. In Game 2, you could tell he was trying to be more aggressive, but he wasn’t very effective because of his lost quickness and floor speed. There were times when he was trying to get by his man, but he just couldn’t. If a 38-year-old Jason Kidd can shut down LeBron, you know there’s something wrong.
