It seems the fingernail biting has started again. Yup the guy who infamously choked in the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs may be choking in free agency.

Lebron reportedly was only going to need until Monday to decide on his basketball future. However now Lebron may not be able to live up to his self imposed deadline. It has become clear that d.Wade the one-time NBA champ is the one in the driver’s seat. Amare is riding shot-gun. Lebron is in the backseat as he was foolishly under the impression he was being chauffered.

Dwayne Wade has no pressure, he has already brought Miami a ring. If he goes to NY applaud his ambition, if he goes to Chicago applaud his loyalty to his homestate. Also d.Wade and Bosh have the same agent which really gives d.Wade the keys to this free agency.

Amare Stoudamire and his assertiveness with the knicks has clearly made Lebron uncomfortable. Stoudamire has even gone as far as taunting Lebron by suggesting Carmelo Anthony will join him.

Why do these factors even matter? Because with all the hype I think people sometimes forget the fact that Lebron may only be the third best player in his 2003 class.

    1. Dwayne Wade
    2. Carmelo Anthony
    3. Lebron James

LeBron the third best player in his CLASS???? Between, he, Wade and Melo:

    Scoring
    LEBRON: 27.8
    Wade: 25.4
    Anthony: 24.7

    Rebounds:
    LEBRON: 7.0
    Anthony: 6.2
    Wade: 4.9

    Assists:
    LEBRON: 7.0
    Wade: 6.6
    Anthony: 3.1

    MVP’s:
    LEBRON: 2
    Anthony: 0
    Wade: 0

    ALL-NBA FIRST TEAM:
    LEBRON: 4
    Wade: 2
    Anthony: 0

    Teams wins since arrival:
    LEBRON: 349
    Anthony: 338
    Wade: 302

    Games played:
    LEBRON: 548
    Anthony: 514
    Wade: 471

Yeah, Wade might have a title, but he had a 20-10 center, a coach with 5 rings, and a bunch of veterans who knew how to win; LeBron had a 30% version of that center, Jamison whp played terribly, and a score-first PG who might be the most inconsistent player in the league. Anthony – no argument. You’re getting ahead of yourself.

Skills wise, Wade and Melo are better.

Rings wise Wade is better and Melo and Lebron tie.

However stats don’t matter if you’re losing. Iverson probably has better career stats than Kobe. Means nothing.

    or Wade’s class
Wade got that one ring yes, Melo hasn’t even been in the finals.
LBJ is the guy all the teams want for a reason he is the best all around player in the NBA.
If he is nervous it’s because this is a big decioson for him leave the home state or risk never winning a chip.
name one top 50 player in the L at the time he has played with and then think about
Shaq ( before being washed up completely) with the heat and billillups with the Nuggets.
Now think about those stats and know why he has to do that…

Three points that must be addressed

    1. When has Lebron been losing? Every single year for the past 7 yrs.

    2. Who do I compare these three to?

    Wade- Drexler

    Melo- Gervin

    Lebron- Dominique Wilkins

    3. Shaq played very well these playoffs. He was actually more consistent than Lebron in the conference semis.

i like dwyane wade as being the better player than lebron honeslty. i jus think wade is so much more of a winner and he wants it more than james does. im not a fan of either player by any means.
