Cusemen727ParticipantAll the analysts keep saying that if Lebrick went to the bulls with another max guy they still might not be the best team in the east. The way I see it is if LeBron and a bunch of goofs that the cavs have can be one of the top teams(best record) in the east, how can Drose, Lebron, Bosh, and Noah not be the clear cut favorites to win the east. I mean to me there is only one or two good teams in the east and thats the Magic and Celtics, but they may be losing Allen and Pierce to free agency, and Garnett is not even close to the player he was even 5 yrs ago. And I get that Basketball is a team sport, but you give that much talent level on one team a whole off-season to practice together, theyre going to be on the same page. Are these analysts nuts or am I just giving these guys to much credit?

IknoBall12Participantthinking about the situation chemistry wise because thats how i see it. there is a lot of clashing going on if those players all play together. i mean DRose and Lebron basically need the ball in their hands all the time. And if lebron is driving who is he going 2 kick out to for the 3? and to me chris bosh and noah i think would get beasted by bigger centers. their both about the same height and size with very diffferent games but still i jus don tthink it would work out

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI don’t see LeBron going to Chicago. I cannot imagine it honestly.
But if they did, I don’t think they are the “favorites” to win anything. Say they bring in Chris Bosh.
Bosh- 12 playoff games
Rose- 12 playoff games
Noah- 12 playoff gamesThis would not be a really experienced team in the playoffs other then LeBron. I think the 1st season? No, they would not be the favorites. The 2011 season? I would make them the favorites.

ZeroParticipantThe 2008 Celtics didn’t have much experience, but they still won.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantYea they did
KG, Ray Allen and Pierce alone had like 200 playoff games between them alone. Throw in Cassell and PJ Brown?
There’s a reason why they won. More experience then LA

Cusemen727ParticipantI too like you dont think hes going to Chicago, hed have to win 7+ titles to even think about surpassing Jordans legacy in the city of Chicago IMO, and i think he knows that and doesnt want that type of presure on him, i personally think hes staying put, but if he were to go to the bulls with another max guy, that team would be hands down the best team in the East, on paper atleast. And I get the whole team chemistry thing, but I just dont think a team in the east could beat them in a 7 game series.

knicks82ParticipantSome NBA player told Alan Hahn of Newsday that Lebron was most likely going to sign with New Jersey. Supposedly this anonymous NBA player is close to Lebron. Honestly I cant wait til all this speculation is over with, its gettin rediculous.

the I in winParticipantno they didn’t, they won because KG shut down Pau Gasol and the all the offence was coming from Kobe and Paul Pierce was playing out of his mind.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantIn terms of playoff games, The 2008 Boston Celtics had playoff experience. What the hell are you talking about?
KG made the playoffs from 1999 to 2004 before joining Boston
Ray Allen made the playoffs at least 6 times before joining Boston
Pierce played in a whole bunch of playoff series
Cassell won 2 rings and PJ Brown had playoff experience

OhCanada-ParticipantIf Bosh could guard Howard Raps wouldve been in a couple Eastern Conference playoffs. He cant…therefore the Rose, Lebron, Bosh, Noah and a bunch of nobody’s bulls cannot beat Orlando’s perimeter assault, great defense, and low post threats.

FreeJasonryParticipantThe reason it has a very high chance of working is because these players are selfless. Rose wants to be a true unselfish point guard. That’s his true nature. He was forced to score besides him being injured that why he had a slow start because he was trying to set guys up and they couldn’t make shots. Rose could have easily avg. around 8-9 assist a game but when you have to depend on Deng, Hinrich, Gibson, etc to hit mid range jumpers a lot of brick are destined. Plus Rose is a B type personality. He isn’t there to hog the spotlight or anything like that. So with Lebron it will make Rose’s role better because he will playing a natural role and when LeBron isn’t in the game boom he can score. Noah on the other hand it’s all putbacks and offensive rebounds. So he’s going to easily get his off the strength of that.

knicks82ParticipantBulls need to pick up someone who can knock down the 3 on a consistent basis. Just sayin.

JJeff6Participanthahahaha how about adam morrison for your 3’s 😉 jk

FreeJasonryParticipantI mean actually Ray Allen would be a good pick up. They shouldn’t sign two max guys when Rose is going to eventually be a max type talent. They should use the other max contract money and sign 2-3 solid role guys. One who can knock down 3’s, rebound/block, and/or glue high IQ guy. They can find some players to replace the players they are losing. I hate the aspect of Rose-James-Deng. They are going to have to get a 3 who shoots 3’s well something Deng doesn’t do. He is a low gravity mid range 3. Very nice ingredient to be a 6th man.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI dont understand why people knock on Noah, this guy will step up to ANYBODY, I mean he guarded Shaq and Ilgauskas in the playoffs this year. And who says he isn’t going to add muscle this offseason?
0 - Posted on: Sat, 06/26/2010 - 2:06pm #342296
Durantula-35ParticipantHe’s bigger than Bosh. And even if he was, Noah never gets backed down by anyone
