mgreener_34ParticipantHe better, his entire career is sort of on the line tonight. I don’t think people question the skills of LeBron, just the mindset. Tonight he has a little Kobe in him, and look what’s happening.

B-ball fanParticipantFor some reason, even though I am a Celtics fan, I would thoroughly enjoy watching if the Heat won the finals over the darling Thunder behind a monster series by LeBron. Preferably with that scowl on his face the whole time. Would be great playoff theater.
I think Miami needs to keep feeding LeBron the ball. Wade has not been good this series, taking too many bad shots. I just trust LeBron more to make the big plays.

delfamParticipantjust wait till the 4th quarter…

akhan786ParticipantAre you kidding me? And people still question whether he’s the best player in the league.
Something to note though which JB brought up…
Have you guys noticed his demeanor through this performance? It looks like a stone cold killer.
Not the scared baby face we see Lebron always having in the fourth quarter.
I’m a die hard Celtics fan, but I’m a basketball fan first. And if we lose tonight because of a legendary performance from Lebron…than I’d frankly be alright with it.
Let’s hope we can see THIS Lebron for the rest of the playoffs.

You my friend, are not a Celtics fan. No Celtics fan would ever say that

Sewok15ParticipantHe could have 50 by the 4th quarter but if he doesn’t make every thing down the stretch and lead the Heat to victory people are going to rip him.

akhan786ParticipantI agree. I HATE the Heat.
But if they win it all behind a legendary performance from Lebron all series, and when I say legendary I mean LEGENDARY, one that we’ll be talking about for years to come, than I’d be quite alright with the Heat winning it.

B-ball fanParticipantI am and have always considered myself a Celtics fan. I root for them and am often biased completely in their favor. I do enjoy basketball besides the Celtics, though, and my sentiment was expressed exactly by akhan786.
The Celtics would be big underdogs against the Thunder, and, just for the drama of it, a Heat-Thunder finals would be great, especially since the Thunder are portrayed as the opposite of the Heat.
Maybe I am not a Celtics fan in your book, but I would rather be able to enjoy all NBA basketball than just Celtics ball. That doesn’t mean I am rooting for the Heat.

TMoney617ParticipantI don’t think anyone questions if he’s the best player right now they just question if he’s clutch enough or has enough of a killer mentality to win championships. If he plays like he did tonight, that won’t be a problem.

rileymcshea3ParticipantI honestly dont think he can do this versus the Thunder if they put Durant on him

B-ball fanParticipantDurant isn’t really a great 1 on 1 defender. I think he’d struggle against the much stronger LeBron.

HaleParticipantI’m honestly not sure of the answer to this, but didn’t LeBron abuse Durant the last time they played?
