Mad MaxParticipantGlenn Robinson III…….doesn’t do anything well at all, he’s just average all around, I don’t even think he’s that great of an athlete especially for his position.

Lotto StudParticipantI would like to know your opinion of him last season.

Mad MaxParticipantSame as before, he was on a great team and was a great fit last season which made him look like a better prospect.

Sewok15ParticipantI agree…he is only the 3rd best player on his team. You can’t say that about any lottery prospect except maybe Zach LaVine who has big time potential. He didn’t make the leap that other guys in the lotto made from there freshen to sophomore years. Guys like Smart, Harris, Grant, and Hood (although he did have a transfer year to improve his game as well).
I think I would actually prefer Stauskas as an NBA prospect at this point because he has shown big time improvements. It seems like GRIII is the exact same player he was last year. At least Stauskas has an elite skill of shooting. Robinson is a pretty solid athlete but he doesn’t seem to show it too often in games.

marquee_markParticipantFirst, I love stauskas, he definitely has a niche in the L. As for LaVine, it does appear as if he’s their 3rd or possibly 4th best player but I believe it’s due to design/usage. He’s probably a better rebounder than his numbers show but he leaks out after every opponents shot for a fast break opportunity. Very streaky on O as a shooter/slasher and can drift but there is a very impressive skill set there. As for his passing ability, it was on full display against Stanford on Thursday, multiple very impressive drive and dishes. Sorry if this seems nit-picky, not trying to take what you said out of context just a big LaVine supporter.

Sewok15ParticipantIt’s all good…I didn’t watch that game so I am always eager to hear somebodies perspective who actually watched a game I didn’t see. His usage is low which is why I can’t say he is better than Adams as a college player…NBA propsect isn’t even close but I am talking about right now. I am a big LaVine supporter as well and would love to see my Sixers scoop him up with the pick they get from the Pelicans.

TarHeelRavenParticipantStauskas is definitely a lottery prospect. He is a knock down shooter and he has pretty good athleticism. He has improved as much from last year as any other player in college.

rileymcshea3ParticipantNot only is he the third best player on the team but I think he the the third best prospect on the team. I much rather take Stauskas and McGary over him. GR3 is only 6’6 and is a SF, it seems like almost every successful teams SF is 6’8 or 6’9 and I don’t see how Robinsom can match up with them. His skill set isn’t super advanced or his athelticism elite to make up for it.
Stauskas on the other hand is a pure 6’6 shooting guard who seems to have added more deminsions to his game. I really like him as a 2 inch taller version of Redick who has become a successful NBA player and compliments stars perfectly.
McGary is another guy I like better then GR3 because he just seems like he knows how to play the game right. Good court vision and knows where to be without the ball, kinda like a shooter that can score without having the ball in his hands. Might not be a starter his whole career but he will find his spot in the league. His back injury might hurt his draft stock for the 2015 draft but I would still take him over Glenn Robinson.
