ZEOParticipantLast go in the past and say you had the Cavs number one pick what you do with it? Would you still choose Lebron and love the moments you had. Or would u draft someone else?
If i had it i wouldnt choose Lebron. To my that was just a BIG TEASE. If i had that pick i would choose Dwayne Wade. That dude stayed with the Heat through ever thing, he showed he’ll put on for his team no matter what.
So what would you do?

Tobe BryantParticipanta lot of ways, yu are right It would have been much easier to build around Dwayne Wade, he is the type of player who can will role players, with one more decent wingman to the depths of the play-offs. Surround him with Mo Williams, Jamison, Varejo, and JJ Hickson vs. Arroyo, a ROOKIE Mike Beasley, Joel Anthony, and James Jones….I actually think LeBron could have been good with the Heat, we might even be looking at a nice tandem with him and Beasley.

FilipinoEllaI will draft Darko Milicic, so that we can have opportunity to pick Howard, jk. jk. jk
i’d pick wade also, he had the chance to go home and play with the bulls, together with noah and rose, but he stayed loyal to Heat, maybe he already know that Lebron and Bosh are coming there,
Imagine if wade went to Bulls last summer,
Pg. Rose
Sg. Wade
SF. Deng
PF. Gibson

aamir543ParticipantI would definately not take Wade, did you hear what he said in that interview a month ago. When asked whether he would go to Cleveland if Lebron tried to recruit him, he said, "Not a chance, not a chance."
I would have traded the pick for Nash and Nowitki. Im sure that they could have gotten somthing like that, and I hear that there was a Shaq for the number 1 on the table also, or maybe that was the next year.

lakersfan4lifeParticipantInteresting perspective.
However, I think that the Cavs were set on taking James – hometown boy and he was supposed to be the "Savior" for the organization.
Similar to the Bulls and when they were deciding to take either Rose or Beasley as the #1 pick – Rose was the hometown boy and could be the PG of the future for them.
