gregoden08ParticipantYet Quincy Pondexter is a 2nd round pick? Are you freaking kidding me? Lazar Hayward might not even get drafted. Quincy is a lock IMO as a 1st round pick. Lock down defender who is very athletic and works his tail off. Lazar is a great college player, but he simply can’t defend wings or post players in the NBA.

gregoden08ParticipantHow the hell was Notre Damn a 6th seed? What a joke…Yet BYU is a 7th seed? Really? Come on….Big East isn’t looking so hot anyways lol.

llperezno way on earth is hayward a better pro prosepct then pondexter. The only advantage he has is shooting 3’s and even then he needs to be set up, he’s not gonna create his own three’s.

DanEboyParticipantI agree. I love the guy becuase of who he plays for and he does have game. The one thing I will say is that he has been playing out of position all year because of Marquette’s lack of height. He can post guys up but I worry about him being able to create his own. He will get drafted though, he is a legit 6’6 who can stroke it and rebound very well.

gregoden08ParticipantDon’t get me wrong….I love Lazar…I respect him as much as any college player in the nation…But let’s be realistic here. Pondexter is a far better prospect/player and is younger as well.

canesboy6Participantditch the mocks for now, dont take them seriously. When the season is over, lets see who declares and who says outright they are coming back and then we can get into it a little more accurately while some of the players make thier early entry decisions. I like Hayward, he can do things that the nba likes. Seems kind of like James Jones to me. He is a big tweener though, I’m not sure he can guard small forwards in the league. From an NBA standpoint, I think he and Harandgody are very much in the same boat. If Dejuan Blair is second round in a bad draft, Im not sure who is going to take either of them in a draft with a gillion big bodies. Like Hayward more than Gody. I was all for Tyler Hansbrough, who at least has a position, but I just don’t see anything that Harangody does translating. Compound that with the fact that he isn’t a great player because he was never a winner at this level.
