knicksfreakParticipantMemphis is a team that has good depth and 3 draft picks in the first round this year. I wouldnt be surprised if they sell one or both of their late first round picks they get from the Lakers and the Nuggets. As an optimist, I think/hope that the Knicks will go after one of Memphis’s picks. This would give the Knicks a 3rd pick in the range of many players who could fit well with the Knicks.
Sherron Collins- could help fill Pg and leadership gaps
Jarvis Varnado- fill major defensive intimidation presence hole
Craig Brackins- long player with scoring ability
Greivous Vasquez- fiery leader who can run some point
Jerome Jordan- polished and somewhat athletic bigman
Willie Warren- good combo guard who is losing draft valueAlong with drafting some effective players for the system, they should go after cheap and athletic F/A’s like Sean Williams and Joe Alexander.

HueBoND 2001ParticipantI really like Willie Warren, though I think he would fit better in an Atlanta system, or Cavaliers. Warren in the right situation is going to be a terrific of the bench scorer. I dont know how Varnado will fare in the pro’s,
Sherron Collins I dont think I would draft him, he is a great player but what does he do at the NBA level, than again in the right situation he could be a great scoring gaurd.

meisi4Participanti agree with you on both the FA thing and the draft…
in draft i think the most promising options would be:
willie warren (much talent but has fallen somehow in mock drafts)
paul george (probalbly won´t be avalible but if he´s a no brainer then)
lance stephenson (very talented an a kid from NY)i have to add i somehow would like scottie reynolds but he´s not in the class of the other three…
the FA think i agree williams and (especially) alexander would be promising
good plan because cap space is great but you will have at least someone to play for the team even if you get one or two all-stars (obviosly not lebron or wade)

khaled_a_dParticipantAs I had the same hope as you(but for my Mavs) I like those names
Jarvis Varnado ,Craig Brackins,Willie Warren,Art Parakhouski(gr8 rebounder, can score and it seems he is smart enough to understand his role and can be a good back up center),Solomon Alabi
player I would take without thinking twice if they fallen too much than expected(The DeJuan Blair rule):
Hassan Whiteside:with so much question marks I think he is the candidate for a bad surprise,he is a risky pick in the lottery but an easy choice late
Jan Vesley:6’11 with amazing wingspan&speed with ability to block shots and being really athletic is too much to pass even if you are a bad shooting SF with bad contract overseas,After Rubio situation last year there is great possibility he will full so much if there was no guarantee that he will buyout his contract
Xavier Henry: miracles can happen lolfor the last 3 I am not saying they are a late first round picks but I think every draft there is some guys who was expected to be drafted between 10-17 in March and fall to second round like Blair ,Budinger

sheltwon3Participantlol@ Sherron Collins not being drafted every year since he has been in he has done great for Kansas even having some big game when it mattered and yet after the Ty lawson situation and Darren Collison situation where you have solid point guard prospect that fell into the late 20’s because guys were so enamored with potential guys. This boggles my mind. Collins will be a great player in the NBA. There were a lot guy starting this NBA season that Collins is better than yet I think he may have to deal with being a back up but he knows how to play the game so he could start for some teams.
