 Ok mini rant here but what ever happened to shooting a game winning shot with 3-4 seconds left to allow for an offensive tip in? I’m so sick of seeing the best players in the world walk the ball up and waste 5-8 seconds just so they can shoot with only a second left. These are supposed to be the best players and smartest coaches in the world!

It is infuriating! Lowery’s pitiful last play was just the latest of many examples of this.

Now the play for the Heat’s game tying 3 is what I would expect from an NBA caliber team. D Wade cutting as the first option- not open. Johnson coming off a brush screen for option two- not open. Dragic on a flare cut after the screen- wide open. That is how a play in a must score situation should look like!

Hero ball makes me sick sometimes.

Somebody should probably tell Dwayne Casey that. He takes a timeout to draw an ISO play. He always does this and it’s sickening to watch. Last year with Sweet Lou, everybody knew what was coming.

The worst part of this play is the fact that he slowly walked up the court like he had a full shot clock. No urgency whatsoever. Do you know where you are? Valanciunas won this game and they didn’t even feed him the rock. They should have been running pick and rolls and deep post entries through Val all game he obviously has Whitesides number and its not even close but for some reason Derozan and Lowry have to play hero ball and take on the whole team but they don’t do this in the regular season so why now. The good news is the defense is so good they can still beat teams like Indiana and Miami but a team like Cleveland will beat them by 40 points every night and wont put up with this.

I expect Toronto to perform well on the road though where the pressure is off them. Derozan shot 2-8 from the FT line. WTF! He went 20-21 in a game this year. Man up stop acting like a little girl you asked for this moment now make the most of it.
