valentineA couple people on here said landesburg was damn near a lock to go first round or maybe just maybe very high second round. Of course they were higher on him then scouts we’re. Not suprising. I never really watched Garcia so I didn’t say much about him but I said landesburg would be lucky to go second round. I am suprised s.Collins wasn’t drafted or the Torrence kid. Or Reynolds although I heard there are a couple teams saying they will

knicksfan7ParticipantI wasn’t shocked that Collins didn’t get drafted. He came to the combine overweight, and being overweight at 5’11” in the NBA is not a good thing at all, remember Khalid El-Amin. That’s not to say I don’t think Collins would make for a good backup point guard b/c I think he would, but he needs to lose weight. Torrance really surprised me, but I heard he has a heart condition that showed up in his physical.

JNixonParticipantYou were right about Landesburg. Pack yourself on the back.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI said the week before the draft Collins wasn’t getting any love because he came to a NJ workout at 222lbs.

JoeWolf1I think if the Clips wouldn’t have traded for Bledsoe they would have considered Collins with their late 2nd round pick, but gaining 5 pounds of fat in a week because you tweak your groin and can’t run as much is about as big of a red flag as possible. I like Collins, he is a feirce competitor and has improved his point abilities every year in college, but he’d always frustrate me when he showed up to summer drills at KU 20 lbs overweight, I thought he had his head on straight, but it’s the same old stuff with SC4 ( great comparison Cole, haha, that was so dumb ) I still think he’ll make a roster, but his continued weight issues really make me a lot more skeptical than I was a month ago.

knicksfan7ParticipantI hope it is nothing serious that would not allow him to play in the long term. I would think it may be an irregular heartbeat or something. I think if that is the case he will get signed somewhere and fill a nice role.
