has really put Duke in a terrible situation with his jewery antics in December of 2009.  I really for bad for Duke University because they most likely had no idea of this incident and it’s possible that Duke could lose its 2010 ntional title because of him.   We don’t know where $30,000 down payment on his jewelry came from, but why did he never pay back the $67,000 dollars that he owed?  I’m obviously a Carolina fan and dislike Duke, but it’s no fair for Duke to be put in this situation because of Lance’s stuidity.  I don’t understand why Lance felt he neede to be iced out as an amateur studen-ahlete with no pofessiona basketball income.  I honestly hope that Duke doesn’t lose its title because one of its players acted like a moron.  Lance Thomas should be ashamed of himself.

Bra I completely understand why he did it. You don’t pass up a black diamond jesus necklace for nothing…

Nah lol but in all seriousness I was worried at first but now I can’t see how they can make it a NCAA violation unless he got the 30 grand from a booster or an agent.

And no booster would only play 30% of a bill and no sane NBA agent would even think of giving a then bench player on an iffy Duke squad early in the season 30 grand to go spend on jewelry.

My take is that he simply was incredibly stupid with his own money.
