"Should he bulk up or stay in the 210lb range?"

Lance Stephenson hasn’t stayed in the 210 range since the beginning of his Sr year of HS.

    1. 4-1, which is the odds he has at becoming a good servicable NBA player.
    2. Yes, hopefully
    3. Maybe, probably not, this year though
    4. SG, but if can play PG, he can be special
    5. Did Daryl Dawkins mature? Has Michael Beasley matured? Has Sebestian Telfair Matured? I hope he does, but the odds are slim
    6. Put on a bit, not too much, but maybe get into the 220-225 range
    7. As much as he wants to be
    8. It depends on what kind of system his team runs
    9. If he refuses to work hard and change his attitude, 1-2 years. If he wants to be his best, and tries his best, than 10-13 years
    10. To be honest, that really isn’t for me to judge, but I hope it does.

What are the odds you all fall back in love with him? never in love with him, but if he changes he attitude maybe

    1. Will he find himself a mentor? He better for his sake
    2. Can he become a rotational guy this year? yeah, he can maybe get some minutes in if he plays defense
    3. PG or SG? I’ll go with sg seems selfish to be a pg
    4. Will he mature once & for all? Hopefully he can become a good player
    5. Should he bulk up or stay in the 210lb range? he should get in shape
    6. How great of a mid range player can he become? as good as he wants to be
    7. Will he ever learn to play without the ball in is hands? if he’s going to stick in the nba he better, but yeah i think he will realize he has to adapt
    8. How much longer will he continue to receive NBA checks? same as aamir543
    9. Will this lockout really help him find himself as a person? he’s looking at playing in europe so maybe he will realize what’s the difference between an nba player and overseas lifestyle that might make him change his ways

Throughout the offseason last year Lance took it upon himself to drop back down to 210…..He even said it via FB.

He had decent handle, finished ok against college kids in the paint, but had no jump shot, lazy on D. Not a bad athelete, but no freak either. Not quick enough against othe nba wings to consistently penetrate against them either. Always thought he should have stayed, I think he would have developed more if he stayed, but honestly he does not have it up stairs. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

Why does there need to be a Lance Stephenson thread every three or four days? He is a second rounder who barely played for a low level playoff team. He has a moderate amount of basketball talent, but also some pretty severe emotional/mental problems. Where does all this fascination come from?

// Totally agree raybeas…. Way too much fascination for an immature 2nd round pick who barely played last year.  Enough of the Lance Stephenson BS.  It almost seems like if you are extremely immature and have attitude problems that you’ll be a fan favorite on nbadraft.net.  Ex. (Stephenson, Cousins, Sidney, etc.)… Stephenson will fade into obscurity within a few years.

    1. What are the odds you all fall back in love with him?  Never stopped loving his talent level.  His attitude gets my hate.
    2. Will he find himself a mentor?  I don’t think so, he wouldn’t look up to anybody because he thinks he is the best, more likely to happen is he sees Paul George doing great things at a young age and he starts working out with him.
    3. Can he become a rotational guy this year?  If he shuts his mouth, yes.
    4. PG or SG?  He will be ball dominant at either position.
    5. Will he mature once & for all?  No, probably never.
    6. Should he bulk up or stay in the 210lb range?  He isn’t a leaper so if he can get big and keep his speed he should go for it.
    7. How great of a mid range player can he become?  Good enough for players to step out to far so he can drive.
    8. Will he ever learn to play without the ball in is hands?  God no.
    9. How much longer will he continue to receive NBA checks?  I think his talent level keeps him a job for a few years at least.  Someone will sign him trying to get a steal.
    10. Will this lockout really help him find himself as a person?  Up to him.
