Lotto StudParticipantI know this is an invite for the jokes LOL. As of right now I know he is nothing, but on a serious tip is he a PG SG or SF? In HS he was a PG, college a SF/SG, but with Indy I’m not quite sure what he will be if he gets any burn. Indy played him at the 1 in summer league play, but I just don’t see him ever playing the 1 there with them having Collison & Price on the roster. Also they are loaded on the wings……SG-Jones,Rush,George SF-Granger,Dunleavy,Posey. I just think he needs another team, because Indy is not the team for him or better yet he is not the player for Indy.

IndianaBasketballParticipantStephenson has work to do on the defensive end and playing without the ball.
He’s a two guard who’ll be able to create for himself and others. The Pacers don’t have a dynamic player like him, so there’s definitely room for him.

omphalosParticipantI think he’s undoubtedly a SG, put Pacers were trying to fill a need by playing him at the 1. Depends on what the Pacers do with Granger, given time Lance could be their starting SG and George their starting SF if they decide to move Granger along. Dunleavy is going, Posey is going, Jones isn’t really the answer, so that leaves Rush, George and Lance at the 2, and Rush has been in the doghouse somewhat lately.
He has all the potential in the world, it just depends on the coach and how hard he works this off-season to improve his game. I really hope he breaks into the lineup a bit this season though just to see what he can do; his rookie season would have been a lot different if he hadn’t been charged with aggravated assault this summer.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDunleavy Jr., Posey and Jones don’t have a future with the team.
And Rush was on the trading block not too long ago. There’s definitely a place for Stephenson on the team IF he stays out of trouble and keeps working.

Meditated StatesParticipantDisagree. There are some things he can do. NBA player is still suspect. He was a 2nd round pick who has not even showed he belongs in the L. Has a lot to prove. Must improve his jumpshot 1st and foremost. I do not believe he is blowing past NBA level talent. He is strong, but he won’t be taking guys to the hoop. He has to turn into a shooter or he won’t b in the league at all. Maybe he does turn himself into a shooter. If he does then yes his game opens up a little. At best a Deshawn Stevenson type who is not as good on D.
