 Nice to see Lance find a prominent role on another playoff team. The Grizzlies make great low key moves and yet another acquiring Lance and a pick for Green. He thrives in lockerooms with veteran players and a tough environment and what better landing spot then the Grizzlies.

On a night where Memphis rested Randolph and Conley Stephenson goes off for 33-points, 7-rebounds, and 4 assists including clutch play in OT. Barnes with a  riple double!

I really wanted him to take the Indiana deal and was gutted that he decided to leave, but I really didn’t enjoy watching him struggle either.

I really like the fit for him in Memphis as I feel it is similar to Indiana as well as being a smaller place with little distractions. I think he has an ability to create and be who he is with the ball in his hands. I would love him to become a free agent again for Indiana to go after him I think he suits the style even more, but I think Memphis is more than likely picking up his option.
I am really happy and hope he gets back on track as a 25 year old showing that near All-Star game.

 Good to see Lance playing well again after Charlotte and Clippers didn’t work out. Suddenly Memphis look to have a bit of depth once they get their full roster fit again. I wonder if fellow former problem child Z-Bo has been able to help Lance with his attitude. Z-Bo was part of the Jail-Blazers and was considered a locker room problem but he knuckled down, made All Star games, became a solid team player and is still in the NBA playing to a good level pushing 35.

With Chalmers tearing his Achilles, and being waived, and Conley Jr out for the next 3-4 weeks… Stephenson will be allowed to play his game. He’s the only player on Memphis who can create off of the dribble and make plays.
