This man is on a mission!

8 mintues to go in the 3rd and he has 33 points from 13-16 shooting as well as 7-8 from the FT line.

He is not taking easy shoots either, they are mostly all mid rangers. He doesn’t look like missing.

I haven’t seen him play this good ever before. Really showing why he is one of the best PF in the game.

Dude is a straight beast. Everybody is shocked at the monster night Dwight is having but Aldridge is answering every possession like its nothing new. I love his jumpshot, has one of the highest releases in the league.

Lamarcus Aldridge was considered a strong candidate for MVP early in the season when Portland was dominating everyone. As fans we can be quick to forget these things.

Dude is proving he is the best power forward in the league by a pretty significant margin. And on a side note Harden is straight trash.

UPDATE: he is on 39 at the end of the 3rd.

Anyone think he will go for 50?

I wonder how many players achieved back to back 40 point games or 45 point games in a playoff series?

Not to many I would think.

He’s the best mid-range scorer in the league. He can’t be stopped on those high-release jumpshots from the post.

Lets be honest.. Houston has no 4 man that can contain him, Lopez brings Howard out and on him.. So LA is there to dominate… Bad matchup for Houston.. Everyone calm down, LA is an All Star and a heck of a player. Nothing New

Nothing new? Come on man, give him more credit.

So you would think coming into these series LA would go for 46 and 43(still 3min to go)?

Those are monster number and in a playoff serries!! Big time games in big time matches.

Yah thats huge. In any sport Playoffs is no joke, youve gotta be one extremely talented guy to score 30 points in a Playoff game and hes been doing this on the road in front of 20000 Rocket fans. If I had that kind of focus and concentration I would probally be worth millions of dalloars this year as well.

Like everyone has pretty much said already, Aldridge has been unreal.

On another note, Robinson and Freeland committed 8 combined fouls in 9 total minutes, so that’s pretty impressive.

He’s been the man so far, love seeing UT alumni playing great.

I would love to see the Blazers VS Thunder in the WCF. Two of UT’s best players battling it out for a trip to the finals.

80+ pts 15+ rebounds in two games, only one to do it since MJ back in 97’… It’s time to crown him the best PF in the league.

Not so fast, Blake has been dominant against the Warriors as well. Dude drop 35 pts on D.Lee a much better player than Terrance Jones in less than 3 quarters, if the game wasn’t so out of hand he might of score 50+ that night. Although L.A. has been beasting on the Rox, Blake has shown to be the better player and top PF this season.

D-lee is a better offensive player than Terrance jones. In fairness they both play city league defense. Also how has Blake shown to be better than LA,other than being in more commercials?

Simple, The Flying Lyon led the Clips to the 3rd best record in the league and best season in Clippers history. Paul missed more than 20 games this season yet the Clips still accomplished those two thing with Blake leading the way. On the other hand Blazers started off hot and faded somewhat near the end of the season. When the MVP vote is all said and done Blake will be the second runner up behind leBron and KD. There’s no denying Blake was the 3rd best player this season both Jeff Van Gundy and George Karl have said as much. Again, LA is playing insane so far but that doesn’t take away the fact that Blake is the Top PF in the game.

Portland faded when LA got hurt and started missing time. I’m not trying to bash on Blake, he’s one of the most talented and electrifying players in the league. But to say he’s proved to be the best is an overstatemt. He’s in the conversation, fair. But I’ll take 89 points 26 boards in two road playoff games myself.

Blake has been the 3rd best player in the whole league this season, I think he deserves the best 4 man title, LA has tore it up these last two games but i didnt see any of this bandwagoning the last 40 games of the season.

I agree that LA is the best four in the league. But as a blazers fan I’ve been saying that all along. But I think real question Is how far can rip city go? I know LA won’t score 44 point a game the whole playoffs but to me I still see them as a real contender at this point. Am I just a Crazy homer or do you guys think they’re legit?

Not his house. He was only renting from Damon Stoudamire

“The report that LaMarcus Aldridge is selling his house in West Linn is not true because LaMarcus Aldridge doesn’t own a house in West Linn. He was renting a house from former Portland Trail Blazers point guard and current Arizona Wildcats assistant coach Damon Stoudamire”

That house IS up for sale.

Aldridge has since vacated the property as Stoudamire prepares to sell the $1.375 million home that was built in 1999.

Aldridge sold his south waterfront condominium last year, too, but that doesn’t necessarily mean anything, either.
