Kobe Bryant led the league last year, taking over 23 shots per game. Second place was Durant at 19 per game.

When Kobe takes more than 20 shots per game the Lakers finished 26-19.

When Kobe took LESS than 20 shots the Lakers went 13-0.

An impressive stat that shows what state Kobe is at in his career. I know most people don’t want to hear it, but he’s not good enough anymore to just take over games and shoot his team to victory. Another stat:

In loses he took 23.5 shots and shot it at 39%. If anyone takes nearly 24 shots at such a poor percentage you will lose.

I’m going to get neg’d, but if they want to win Brown has to put the ball in Nash’s hands. I can only imagine how Kobe will react to that.

but KOBE BRYANT IS THE MOST OVERRATED SUPERSTAR EVER(IM NOT SAYING HE’S NOT TOP 5 SG OF ALLTIME,AND HOF),BUT IMO IF LAKERS HAD HEALTY T-MAC, OR GRANT HILL WITH SHAQ THEY WOULD PROBABLY WON 5+ TITLES IN A ROW

That is an amazing stat. I wonder what Kobe would say if someone told him that.

At this point in his career, he’d be better off putting up 22ppg 5rpg and 5-6apg, instead of jacking up 25-30 shots a game trying to score 30 a night. Thats not a knock on Kobe, it’s just father time is catching up to him. It happens to everyone.

The laker lost 3 times last year when Kobe took less than 20 shots.

A loss to the Spurs when he shot 7-12 and 18 points.  121-97

A loss to the Jazz when he shot 6-16 and 26 points. 96-87

A loss to the Grizzlies when he shot 7-15 and 18 points. 102-96

Kobe tries way to hard to shoulder his team and ends up taking such poor shots. You would think he would have learned when he was getting put out of the playoffs in the first round before gasol came.. Imagine how dysfunctional those Cavs teams would have been withe Kobe instead of lebron..

There were definitely a number of games kobe shot them out of. But you also have to consider the fact that there are many games where Kobe has to take a bunch of shots bECAUSE the lakers are losing or other guys are struggling. Also ur stats r apparently wrong

That the games where kobe shot less than 20 shots were probably against non-playoff teams where he didn’t have to play much therefore did not take as many shots.

Also @blood are you actually trying to say that both t-mac and g.hill were both better than kobe in their respective primes?
