Tobe BryantParticipantWhich squads do you think will make the best trade partners with the L.A. Lakers?
If those picks that LA owns, as well as the TPE, are all legit (early 20s and about 8 mil. in TPE) then I would say:
1) Utah Jazz: Owning back-to-back picks in the first round, the Jazz can look to add to a young and improving squad, all while getting rid of former all-star Devin Harris. They can take L.A.’s picks and draft a Kendall Marshall, Marquis Teague, or playmaker like Tony Wroten.
2) Cleveland Cavaliers: The Cavaliers are set at PG for the future with Mr.Irving, therefore trading away Ramon Sessions for the 20th and 23rd pick, if L.A. finishes the year with them, then they can add to their roster with possibly Quincy Miller, Tony Wroten, or an Austin Rivers IF they fall that far.
Anyone else?

Chilbert arenasParticipantI think Sessions would be a better fit than Harris from Lakers stand point.

CoolidgerParticipantIf Austin Rivers declares for this draft class, there’s no way he’d fall to 20-23. He’d have to have a pretty horrid tournament run for his stock to drop that much.
Other then that, I agree that Sessions would be the better fit then either Gilbert Arenas or Devin Harris. Devin Harris needs to go to a running team to revive his career, he’s best when he’s pushing the break. The Jazz are a halfcourt team, as are the Lakers, so I don’t think he’d fit with either.

HitsterParticipantCleveland could be an interesting trade option if the Lakers try to shake things up as they have Jamieson’s large expiring deal, could maybe Gasol be dealt to them for future picks.
This would give the Lakers a large expiring deal and several picks to look to form the basis of any deal and Cleveland get a star big man for a couple of years whilst Thompson develops and it gives Irving a top quality running mate.
Cleveland after going 19-63 have rebounded quite well and adding some like Gasol could put them back in the play off mix next year. Their pick this year is likely later lottery so if they put some protection on that and sent a package of the Miami picks they don’t give up too much.
