GrandmamaParticipantDid anyone else see what happened in the Lakers/Cavs game tonight? Due to injuries and players fouling out, the Lakers were down to only 5 players for the 4th quarter of tonight’s game.
Robert Sacre (one of the remaining five) was called for his 6th foul in the fourth quarter. Rules state that he can remain in the game, but that foul and any subsequent foul would be treated as a technical foul.
And after all of that, the Lakers still beat the Cavs….lol.

Sewok15ParticipantYeah I never knew that rule though. Didn’t the lakers just get 3 PG’s back in their lineup?

flopdownDDoes anybody know the Coach Carter strategy? Outrunning opponents. Lethal against a team like this.

King CaluchaParticipantCareer high in points for Ryan Kelly. This guy has been playing well lately… and it’s not just the 3pt shooting. He’s a high IQ player who makes great decisions with the ball in his hands. I like the ball movement the Lakers have when he’s on the floor. It seems he’s been receiving good advice from Pau in the matter.

TyroberParticipantI never want any player to get hurt, but when I saw they were only dressing 8 players I really wanted to see what would happen if they got down to 5 and then 4. The technical thing is pretty neat, but what happens if another player gets injured and it leaves them with 4? Do they forfeit the game?

GM is trying to keep his job, but owner has basically said I’m not letting you trade any assets
Coach hates to develop young players and has one of the youngest rosters.
“Star player” has decided to play 1 on 5 hero ball when on the courts.
Players who speak up about the problems are being put in the dog house.
Veteran players have decided to phone it in since they are getting paid anyway.
Best player on the team is an undrafted rookie who plays the same position as supposed star player.
Not a single player on the front court that the offense can be run through.

Jester87ParticipantLOL I remember back when I was a kid, playing old NBA live games for Super Nintendo, trying to get all but 4 players fouled out just to see what it happened. I honestly don’t remember if they had the technical thing, I just remember there were 5 players on the court and some of them had like 12 fouls.
By the way, I know many Lakers fans hate him and unfortunately people jump on and off coaches and players’ bandwagon too quickly, so not enough people remember how great D’Antoni has been in Phoenix and very few appreciate what he’s doing this year, with basically no talent. But if my team is rebuilding and I have many young promising players I’d want him to be the coach. It’s just incredible how much he can get from almost everyone. I mean, I don’t know if you’re actually realizing that if Ryan Kelly keeps playing like this he has great chances of being an all rookies first team selection. I wasn’t even sure he was going to be drafted and make A team, let alone make the all rookie team. Kendall Marshall went from out of the league and probably not coming back soon to a double double machine. Wes Johnson and Xavier Henry also looked like they were done with the Nba and they are good contributors now. Steve Blake, Jordan Farmar, Nick Young they’re all having career years. Players seem to have fun playing with him and pretty much everyone who has played under him has developed into high character guys.
