Might be one of the worst fake trades ive ever seen. Chicago just traded Deng because they’ve accepted the fact they aren’t going anywhere and are willing to sacrifice this season for a solid draft pick. Now you want to trade that all away for what might not even be much of an upgrade at PF? I’m sorry but this is just idiotic.

The Bulls will have a lot of talented options with their first round pick.  (Currently 18th)  As a Bulls fan, why would you want them to trade this pick?

If the Bulls wanted to get rid of Boozer, they would amnesty him.

Bulls are tanding now so why give up a first rounder.

Its is hard to assume what the basis of your trade proposal is/was, but in this scenario, the Bulls do avoid having to amnesty Boozer and pay him next  year (off the cap books but your still paying him the $16M+) which I know is something Reinsdorf would love to avoid.

However, the Bulls like their flexability currently with the draft picks and need to see how the picks unfold with Sacramento and the Charlotte picks before they start trading picks and acquiring an expiring contract, like Gasol.

The Bulls have always sniffed around a Gasol trade, but I think that died when they shipped out Deng.  They are under the cap which was the goal and have picks to play with.  That along with Mirotic are reasons to be optimistic in Chicago and unless a complete no brainer comes across their desk, they will stay where the are.  Which is treading water in a very bad eastern conference.
