Zach Lavine is clearly unhappy in chicago.. I dont know if he would be happy being a 6th man on a championship team… if he is and pope accepts the trade with his no trde clause…..

Lakers should trade in the offseason: Kuzma, Pope (no trade clause have to work), Caruso, Cook for Lavine.

Who says no? Nice haul for the bulls.

There is no way that happens, you are clearly a Lakers fan if you think that, if you think that. Kuzma looks worse and worse every game, I was never high on him at all. The Lakers would have to throw in 4-5 1sts and Kuzma for that to work.

Is LaVine unhappy? Probably but there is no chance he ends up in LA with the supreme lack of assets the Lakers have. I think a team like Charlotte could make a run for him but I don’t think it will happen.

4-5 firsts for Zach Lavine? Now who looks biased lol! A guy who has never made an allstar team is not worth more than what I offered. At least I am in the ball park. Lol

I’m more saying the Lakers firsts which are just as good as early seconds in the future, not like Knicks and Pistons first round picks. I know they do not have any to give, and I actually hate both the Lakers and the Bulls so I don’t give a crap about thier teams. So 4-5 “2nds” plus Kuzma for LaVine

It would slide LaVine into the role he is made to play as a Lou Williams/Jamal Crawford type off the bench where his playmaking ability would be maximized while protected from his alarming lack of awareness and feel for the game that has led to him heading towards year six in the league having played on one 30-win team (a young Kevin Love would be proud). The problem is that Kyle Kuzma’s trade value is nowhere near what it was last summer. By the next time he can be dealt, he will be entering the last year of his rookie deal, which means he will go from one of the best bargains around to almost certainly overpaid. With the fundamentals of this trade idea, it also puts Thaddeus Young, Kyle Kuzma, and Lauri Markkanen in more or less the same position with the two younger players entering the final year of their rookie deals. The one good thing about LaVine stacking horribly empty numbers is that it makes his contract appear more valuable, which I think would mean that should he be dealt it would get someone who would allow the rest of the roster to fall into place better not worse. Presumably, the Bulls will have a new coach and GM next season. If that is the case, the time to move LaVine will be next winter when one would hope the draft class will be better and that they have had a half season with a real head coach to see what can work or if their current squad is in no way salvageable.
