YoungKINGSParticipantLaker fans would you trade Bynum and Ron Artest for Paul Pierce and Brandon Bass? throw some draft picks in there maybe?

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantI think there’s no way in hell they trade Pierce to the Lakers. I think the most realistic scenario is that Pau Gasol will get traded, probably to a team that’s already contending. I could see a Pau Gasol for Iggy and other pieces trade happening.

ivan138Participantmark my words, paul pierce is boston celtics of newer era, he will never be traded, they are loyal , he is loyal.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWhat do you guys think of a Josh Smith, Zaza Pachulia, and Marvin Williams for Pau Gasol and Ron Artest?

SmooveKRYPTParticipant+1 for the ATL trade…I had the same idea.
I like Josh Smith & Marvin for Pau. Smith likes the mid-range area where he can either slash or make plays for others. Pau likes the block but doesn’t get many opportunities there with Bynum occupying it the majority of the time. Horford would be better playing off Pau than he is Smith. Not sure if Atlanta would take MWP as much as they could use his toughness, I doubt the organization would want to deal with him.0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/24/2012 - 3:42am #673323

TyroberParticipantPierce is not guaranteed to be a Celtics forever. They had a deal in place to send him to the Nets and have another deal sending Allen to the grizzlies. But I doubt the Lakers event want Pierce

iguapops420ParticipantIve often mentioned gasol for smith. Id do that deal in a heart beat. As for Iggy, while he’s my favorite small forward in the game, my only problem would be LAL’s inability to acquire impact shooters and the team would absolutely need to surround Bynum,Iggy, and Kobe with shooters for said team to work.
