I can be excited about him as my centerpiece/ or one of my conerstones to Build around. I think he was an Allstar snub. He’s putting up some great # & with all of Portland’s injuries he’s shown he can be the Leader of a Team. Who would have thought that out of all of their high draft picks (M.Webster 6th/GO 1st/BRoy 6th) he would be the one leading their franchise. Although, he was #2 Overall pick he was traded & no one considered him a franchise type of guy. But i liked him @ Texas & thought he could have a great Career. I hope he improves and becomes the Next Duncan.

I think its ridiculous that he is leading his team to a good record and he has GREAT numbers and didnt make the allstar game. I know Blake Griffin will be a superstar in this league but the coaches should have voted Aldridge in ahead of BG. Griffin is already in the Rookie/Sophmore game and the dunk contest. Aldridges numbers have been better than Blakes and he should have definitely made it ahead of him.

Is Blake playing in the rookie-soph game still? I thought if you were voted in to the All-Star game then you gave that spot up for another rookie.

Griffin was a no brainer to make the All-Star game.

He’s having a monster season. He’s the most exciting player in the league and one of the most talked about players in the league. He’s the best rookie since Tim Duncan. He’s filling arenas everywhere he goes and has people standing on their feet. He plays in LA. And at one point, before Eric Gordon’s injury, had LAC looking much improved.

It’s not like David Stern picked him… The *COACHES* did, which means he’s earned a lot of respect around the league.

    Who didn’t see this coming?
6’10 – 7 Footer with Long Arms, Great Athleticism, and a nice jumper after his Junior Year. Fairly young and dominating in a Top Conference. I was a big UT Fan and still am. I was amazed the Bulls traded him.
He has all the tools to be a Top 10 Player. It’s just a matter of putting it together and he’s starting to do so.
    LA !

Thought he came out as a Sophomore? I think Aldridge is good, but I think these are the prime years for him. I still think he’s a #2 guy on a title team personally. He’s someone I liked last season, glad to see him improve
