I’m not sure if it has been confirmed yet, but a pretty reliable source on a Duke message board has said that Kyrie Irving will probably be held out of the next few games with a sprained toe. Luckily this seems like more of a precautionary measure and the staff just doesn’t want to take any unnecessary risks when they are playing Bradley and UNCG.
Let’s hope it isn’t turf toe. That’s a tough injury to get over. You never really fully heal from it.
The word is that it is just a sprained-toe, whatever that means, but supposedly it isn’t serious at all, but they think it’s just best to let him rest against teams that they will blow out anyway.
