geothermalParticipantis it early to say that kyrie is at the level of Kobe and Lebron? well eventually he would be right there, its only because that there team is losing that he isn’t given enough praise, well there team is on rebuild mode, and is in need of one or two veteran,

MikezParticipantYou mean Luke Walton isn’t a veteran?

jmarg25ParticipantNot quite yet on Kobe and Lebron’s level. He’s not elite defensively and well, its hard to be the complete player Lebron is when you’re 6 inches shorter. Incredible scorer though.

HaleParticipantConsidering he might not even be a top 5 PG in the NBA yes it’s WAY too early to say he’s anywhere near Kobe or LeBron. Irving is sensational, but he’ll never ever touch prime Kobe or prime LeBron.

TyroberParticipantHe is obviously going to be very special, but Kobe and LeBron are going to be top 10 talents of all time. Kyrie Irving is going to be very good and I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the best point guard in the league at some point, but he has a long way to go to be top 10 all time.

TheArtistPaysthePriceParticipantKobe and Lebron is way to far out there. For all his gifts he is in the bottom 25% of defense for starting point guards. Kobe and Lebron even in the younger days were always in the top 25% as far as defense for there positions.

geothermalParticipantbut with Kyrie’s Prime? do you think he would be such a Big Player that Nike would have his own line? The Kobe system,

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantIt’s WAY to early to be comparing Kyries first 1.5 years to LeBron and Kobe’s hall of fame legacys’. It’s like comparing Bo Jackson to the all time greats after his short career

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantHe dons the Uncle Drew makeup, and changes his jersey name to “Drew” for at least one game during the regular season.

Kyrie IrvingIf your’re starting a franchise, I’m the third best player to start with.

FastAndFuriousParticipantKyrie aint even close to Lebron James, not anywhere in the area code.
Kyrie is closer to Kobe ONLY because Kobe is older, in his prime Kyrie couldn’t sniff Kobe!
Pump yall brakes on Kyrie, these are two TOP 5 OF ALL TIME when it’s said and done players yall comparing him 2.

BenchWarmerParticipantLet’s wait till he atleast plays one playoff game to even put him in the conversation of best point guard.

akhan786ParticipantLet’s wait until the playoffs and when Kyrie shows he can do something else besides score.

FastAndFuriousParticipantWhat’s the negs for?
Kyrie aint even the best PG in the league lmao how is he even being compared to Lebron and Kobe?

EntropyParticipantThis is disrespectful towards Kobe and Lebron. my god.

Kyrie IrvingAt the age of 20…
*stats per 36, to even out playing time..
Kyrie= 24ppg 5.7apg 3.7rpg…. on .46FG% .435FG%
Kobe= 19ppg 3.6apg 5rpg…….. on .45FG% .267FG%0 - Posted on: Fri, 02/15/2013 - 7:25pm #748040

Ghost01ParticipantI don’t think Kobe is top 5 all time. His first 3 titles, he was the 2nd best player. There isn’t one other guy in that top 5 group that was completely and utterly overshadowed by another player for that many titles. And in 09 and 10, there were no “marquee” wins, even that series against Boston, they were a 4 seed. I just don’t see Kobe as a TOP FIVE player ever. He’s also extremely one dimensional. He’s a scorer, thats really it. LBJ is on his way there, but he needs to win more titles and continue to dominate.

geothermalParticipantwhat i meant by the question above is will kyrie be as Dominant of a star just like kobe and Lebron?,just like when Kobe and Lebron entered the league, with there first 1.5 years they wear compared to Great names, Kobe even Shot an Air ball once
while Kyrie showed he can perform clutch shots and take games,0 - AuthorPosts
