TRC1991ParticipantLooked super fast, explosive, quick and tough-to-defend tonight.
For those who didn’t know, he dropped about 20-25 lbs in the offseason, and looks amazing. He was legitimately fat last year, probably weighed 215 lbs.
He was quick tonight, and looks like he’ll be an all-star again if he can have another solid year, with Wall and Irving being the only PGs in the east that are better.
And Irving’s gonna be hurt to start the year so that’ll only help Kyle’s case.

kobyzParticipantSo why he was so unprofessional with all those fat last year???

IndianaBasketballParticipantLowry’s body looks completely transformed! He’s lost all of that weight, but somehow maintained that bull dog strength. He’s going to have the best year of his career.

omphalosParticipantHe’d better have the best year of his career after his team got swept out of the playoffs by the Wizards.
I’d be very curious to see whether a peak Lowry could make the All-Star team ahead of a healthy Rose, Wall, Dragic and possibly Irving if he doesn’t miss too much of the season.

TRC1991ParticipantLowry is better than Dragic by a sizable margin, and comparing him to Derrick Rose is a sheer insult.

Make’Em Say UGHParticipantRaymond Felton is turning in his grave! lol but seriously, big ups on Kyle to lose that much weight. Shows a lot of leadership with them coming off of being swept.
PS
Big Al lost 20-25 pounds this offseason, can’t ‘weight’ to see the difference it makes. #cornyiknow

NBAjunkie81Participanthe was the youngest in a 4 guard set but you could tell he was NBA material – he has amazing body control in the air – I’m glad to here he’s rebounded from last year b/c w/ Lowry & DeRozan the Raptors have a deadly young back court….

PulseGlazerParticipantLowry is easily a top 10 PG. He’s the best player on that team and while the division is bad, they’ve still been a solid team with a lot of middling talent.
Curry, Westbrook, Paul, Wall, and Lillard are clearly better. Conley is right around on par. Irving is always injured, yet somehow Rose is hurt even more. Parker has really slowed. Dragic isn’t clearly better. Knight is inconsistent and Bledsoe plays the 2.
So if we count health, Lowry is in the conversation for 7th, assuming health is a factor, and it should be.
