cabbycabParticipantHave not watched a single UCLA this year, but this kids numbers are absolutely ridiculous: 15 / 9 / 7. Jason Kidd like numbers. Is this guy legit?

PhillySports0ParticipantYea he’s a real good player see’s the floor really well and should be a first round pick come the draft when he decides to leave but let me warn you he may be the slowest point guard (point forward) you will probably ever see.

MopgrassParticipantIt’s a shame he’ll probably be a SF, which will really drop his value. The team drafting him should work around him if they want to utilize him… instead of trying to fit him onto their system.
Not only does he run slow, but the rest of his movements look like they’re in slow-mo. I wonder if he’s taking his time and he’s just lethargic. I’m guessing he could edge out Andrew Bynum in a foot race.

llperezonly time will tell if he makes it as nba’er. So unique he has no real comparison> on one hand, he does eevrything well besides defense and is so unselfich, his coach will prpobably enjoy having him out there. ON the other side, he needs the ball in his hands to be truly effective and most teams have stars that will be ball dominant and he could potetnially just fade intot he background.
Eithe way, this guy is fun as hell to watch. And if they give nick johnson the pac 12 mvp over kyle, it will be 100% a vote due to team succes and have zero to do with who the better more valuable player is to his team.

PhillySports0Participantagain I have to bring up Kyle Anderson’s speed…. Evan Turner probably runs circles around him and I swear I’m not joking. I see more a Lamar Odom 2.0 type deal

omphalosParticipantI don’t think he’s legit in terms of being a starter. Might find a role as a bench guy somewhere, but his athleticism will hold him back from being a successful NBA player given he needs the ball in his hands to be effective.

laarethekingsParticipantHis perfect spot might be running the second unit on a deep team. Could be 6th man of the year.
But if he somehow in pre draft workouts shows some more speed he’d fly up the draft.

khoss76ParticipantHe could be a good combo forward in the League and if he ever works hard on his athleticism (he still has room to improve) he could be a real matchup at the four spot. He reminds me of Boris Diaw as he’s the ultimate glue player, can rebound and makes his teammates better

benny15Participantto me he’s style of play is simillar to hedo without the jumper. i know that sounds weird since the jump shot was a big part of hedo’s game, but they have simillar court vision, height and ball handling abilities. having said that, i feel that kyle can still have a good career in the league despite his lack of speed if he works on his shot more and turn it into a true weapon. his percentages are good, 48% from deep for the season, but he averages less than 1 a game.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI have loved Anderson all year. Yes, he is labeled as slow but it never seems to affect him.. Instead of saying he is slow, i say he is efficient. He doesn’t put any more energy into stuff than he needs to. When he slices into the defense, he sure does it effortlessly. When he breaks a press, its not a problem. Rebounding and starting a fast break is actually what he is probably best at. Do those things sound like someone who is slow? Not really. But because he is paitent and efficient with his movements, looking like he isnt trying, he gets labeled as slow.
Draft him as a PG and he will have a career. Draft him as a PF and he will be a flop.
Even if he is slow, so what. Its something he has been all his life and he knows how to deal with it. Nate Robinson and Isaiah Thomas have been short their whole lives. They know how to deal with it.
