PaulsJayhawksParticipantKansas blew out KST tonight. KST for a team coming in this year with such hype really looked like a below average team tonight. KU also looked very dangerous. Tyshawn Taylor had his strongest game today by far I think. Hes been taking better care of the basketball and drove real well tonight. Was SO good to see Thomas Robinson have a good game after his mothers funeral. Proud of hows this kid has held up under the past tradegy. Rockchalk!!

JoeWolf1When the Morris twins and Tom Rob get going on the same night watch out! It was great to see Robinson get going in the 2nd half after all he’s been through. I agree with what you said about Tyshawn, I wish he’d use his speed more often to take guys off the dribble.
Mario Little is kind of a man without a true position, but he is emerging as a great zone buster with his 10-15 foot jumper in the high post. He didn’t have an outstanding game, but it’s just another reason why I feel KU is the most versitile offensive team in the NCAA. They are still prone to some defensive lapses, but I think losing to Texas was good for them.
Props to K-State too, they played awful, but Frank Martin and the Wildcats are class acts, it was nice to see guys on the other team show support for Tom Rob.

PaulsJayhawksParticipantI agree as KST are natural rivals and I have no love for them, major props for taking the time to offer support espescially Pullen.
I hope the recruits in the building tonight see how KU cares about its players.
Also feel feel bad for Releford, after red shirting he worked hard to crack the line up but the ankle has seemed to slide him out of the rotation. I think they will still need him at some point.

JoeWolf1^^ I think it was a good sign the played him a little in the last minute of the game. You could still tell he wasn’t moving 100% on his ankle, but the fact he was in the game is a good sign for his recovery.

sammybuckeye13ParticipantMarkieff definitely deserves more recognition than he’s gotten. I really love Marcus Morris and I’m not saying Mk. is better, but he’s not getting his due…He’s 6-10/245 (bigger than Marcus), a better rebounder than Marcus and he’s averaging 12.7 points on 56% shooting as the team’s 3rd option. At any other school I think he would be a star but KU is still the best place for him with their powerhouse tradition, and his bro there. But a 6-10/245 PF with a game like that on a top team? Def a first round contender at the very least to me…

JoeWolf1I think Markeiff is a 1st rounder as well. He is big enough to rebound and defend in the post and has a good enough mid range game to be a good pick and pop player in the NBA. He is vastly improved from last year, he was very frustrating to watch last year at times and now he’s leading the Big 12 in rebounding. Both twins are gym rats and it’s really paid off for them, even from an athletic standpoint. They are like Hansbrough as far as taking average athleticism and making it above average by getting in great shape and working hard.
