I remember last year when he decided to stay another year at Providence it was said that coaches were convincing him that he would be a top 5 pick in the 2016 draft if he stood another year. I remember thinking there’s no way that happens being that he will be the age of the senior and he was already projected as mid first-rounder if he declared so I though he’d only drop on the board if he stood another year. But boy did he prove me wrong as he exploded this year. I guess the Providence coaching staff really did have faith in him..

Haven’t watched enough of his games, how good of a three point shooter is he and does it seem that he’s been improving in that category?

It’s always a risk deciding to remain in college if you have a fairly solid draft status especially for someone like Kris who had a fair few injuries during his first couple of college years. But his college coaches look as if they persuaded him to make the right decision perhaps knowing there would be relatively few PG prospects going to college this year. So outside of Jamal Murray Kris stood a great chance of being at the front of the queue for any team wanting a PG.

Also for a PG it often helps to be NBA ready as you are a team’s main offensive creator so that would have been another point for Kris to consider.

I’d fully expect him to declare this summer given the amount of PG’s in next year’s mocks and his draft stock looks rock solid in the top 5 to 8. I could see him being seriously considered by Philly if the Lakers pick comes across or they happened to have no luck in the draft lottery with their own pick.

It seems like his stock has dropped a tad here in the last few weeks at least when he was considered a top option at No. 3.

I still think he’ll be a top-7 pick and a good starting PG though. I’m a huge fan, but I also worry a tad that his shooting is a bit flukey. His FT % has plateaued around 65, which makes it unlikely that he’ll be much a 3-point shooter. His mid-range shot is okay, but not great.

At the same time, his defense and athleicism should allow him to be a solid transition player and I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s a guy that takes advantage of better spacing in the NBA.

If he’s on the board when the Wolves are picking…I really hope he’s the guy they take.

He’s got a pretty good teammate in Ben Bentil, that guy is a beast. However with or without bentil im sure dunn would still dominate

If he has a solid improving jumpshot, I would like him as a twolves fan. He fits with the core and could grow with wiggins and towns. Rubio not being able to shoot or score kind of throws things off sometimes. If they got a guy like dunn, it would increase the potential of the team. It would also allow them to trade rubio, a lot of teams will have cap room, so they should be able to get a lottery pick plus a young player or a late first round pick or dump pekovic in the trade for rubio.
