Sewok15ParticipantHe has signed a 4 year deal worth 24 million dollars. I know shooters are at a premium in the NBA but this seems a little steep for Korver who brings nothing but a jumper to the equation. He is one of the best shooters in the league but for a guy who only averaged double figures one time in the last 7 seasons doesn’t 6 million a year seem like overpaying?
Apparently he turned down the Nets offer of 3 years 10 million and the Bucks offer of 3 years 21 million. I know people always get overpaid in free agency but this year seems crazier than ever.

beargar10ParticipantAll Korver can do is shoot, why would who pay him that much. He might be a six point difference in a game, that’s usually not a huge help. Abd again way too much $.

Chilbert arenasParticipantI really wanted him to end up with the Nets for some reason. Good amount of players making out like bandits this year.

KHAM83ParticipantThere must be something else brewing. Maybe this is a part of a trade coming up?

ItsRainingNegsParticipantI don’t know why they would sign him when they are clearly rebuilding. Unless they get Dwight I think this signing is absolutely pointless.

SuckerpunchParticipantI was hoping Korver left. Jenkins was going to be my late round flyer in fantasy this year! Still might be.

JaeEvolutionParticipantIt really works out for ATL either way. If Dwight comes then you just signed one of the best shooters that Dwight needs to space the floor, and make the D respect his shooting. If Dwight doesn’t come you just signed one of the best shooters that contenders need to space the floor, and make the D respect his shooting.
Let him walk for nothing or use his one-dimensional-ness to help you tank/get future assets, doesn’t seem like a bad move me.

Ghost01ParticipantMy guess is Redick getting 4/27 helped him drive his price up. Even though Redick is younger and probably a better defender.
