Now I know what Charles Bakley was talking about, earlier this year when he said kobe has lost a lot of his game. Dont get me wrong, he is still an amazing player, will average at least 20 for the next 4-5 years, but he is not what he was 3 or 4 years ago. 2006 Kobe would have gone for 40 last night, probably 50. He is not the athletic specimen he used ot be, but it happens to everyone (except Jordan). He can still will the Lakers back, but he is getting up there. He cant take defenders of the drible with his speed like he used to. out of curiosity, I think they should go back to the game plan they used in November 09, just a thought.

Saying he is not a dynamic scorer still is going way overboard. He has gone for 30 or more 4’times in the playoffsmso far. He is obviously not the guy he was a few years ago but it’s not like he is playing bad, he is still the mvP of the lakers and one of the top 5 players in the game. Biggest difference I notice is that when he does get by his man he doesn’t have the hops to draw contact and finish all the time and he often has to throw up floaters and he’s not getting fouled anymore, defenders can just put their arms up and contest without fouling.

"He is not the athletic specimen he used ot be, but it happens to everyone (except Jordan)."

Jordan’s athleticism was on the decline for most of his championship seasons. He was almost entirely a post player and jump shooter during his second three-peat.
