dude plays 25 minutes, attempts just 7 shots but goes to the stripe 14 times in a PRE season debut. if this is a sign of things to come the rest of the league may as well concede the championship to la this year. lebron james doesn’t even get this much of a free ride from the refs.

 Man, what is it with people and taking one PRESEASON performance and acting like somebody just clutched Game 7 of the NBA Finals.  Kobe got to the line a lot?  Big deal… It’s preseason.  Kobe won’t get to the line all that often in the regular season because he is too prone to shooting, and will he rarely get a whistle for a foul.  

I’ll admit, the Los Angeles Lakers have a pretty decent shot at winning the NBA championship this year.  However, do I think this is because Kobe made it to the free-throw line a lot in his first preseason game of the year?  Absolutely not.  

It’s silly to think that these little outbreaks in unimportant games are what’s going to make or break a team.  Because it isn’t.  The regular season is 82 games long.  Watch Kobe in real time against real NBA competition before you go off claiming that the other 29 professional basketball teams should just throw in the towel.  That’s just ignorant.

Did you watch it or read a box score? They were mostly good calls, sure I didn’t agree with all the calls but who does? It’s the preseason, teams are working out kinks and getting there legs back, there’s gonna be fouls and turnovers. Haha it’s one preseason game. I hate Kobe too bro, but I respect his game.
