McWinningParticipantFelton is not doing good, one lucky shot at the end but hes getting destroyed on defense, and is running the offense terribly, and cant create offensivly.
Garnett got ejected so Marquis Daniels is guarding him and its not even a contest.
Chandlers been very impressive.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantI disagree about Raymond Felton. He’s playing well. There should have been 2-3 more assists there but he and Amar’e are not on the same page. Right now, he got 7 points, I would say he needs to average like 10-12 but right now, he’s working well from what I see. Rondo is not killing him.
Also, I don’t like Wilson Chandler in this game. Too many times I seen him kill possesions by shooting with 15-20 left on the shot clock.

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantRaymond Felton is not a 20-10 guy at all. He’s a 12-8 type guy at best.
If you think he’s supposed to be a 20-10 guy then you will be disapointed.

doubledribblerParticipantI wonder if shooting with so much time on the clock is more of a D’Antoni thing. It’s a bad habit for a young player, especially one that is not a great shooter or doesn’t have an awesome setup man.I wouldn’t be surprised if D’Antoni and Walsh are ran out in the next two years. There won’t be anymore excuses after then. The only way either could likely extend their time is if they can land a big time player and get fans to believe that guys need some time to gel. I truly believe that there are only a handful of guards in the league right now that could run D’Antoni’s offense like he wants it ran and run it well. Felton isn’t a bad player at all, but he’s not one of those guys either.

sheltwon3ParticipantI did say he could average 20 10 and I could be wrong but right now it is early. He is playing with a new team and most of the players are new. Do you really think he will average less than double figures. Also, I may be right about the 10 assists but with Chandler, Randolph, Gallinari all scoring more than I thought they would, he will not get the shots required. Also preseason is not regulars season and once he gets a better feel of the offense, he will be able to get his points. It is not hard to get points in a Mike D’ Antoni offense once you understand it.

Yesterday you called yourself a "genious" (I meant to spell it like that too) for saying Gordon Hayward would be a bust based on a preseason game, and that was based largely on the same things you’re making excuses for Raymond Felton for. And now, Felton is playing on a new team so his mediocre performance is grounds for an excuse? Double standard? I think so….

knicksfan7ParticipantIf Raymond Felton averages either 20 or 10 I would be pleasantly surprised. I think he could average 10 ast down the road, but if he ever averages more than 15 points, I won’t even want to know the record of my knicks.

durantula83ParticipantFelton is an overrated player. This guy has been starting for one of the worst teams in the league for 5 years str8, he’s had all the opportunities to become a great player but let’s face facts he’ll never be more than an average starter who gets killed on defense time after time like his name was Mike Bibby. He’ll never be that point guard that puts the team on his shoulders and steers it to new heights.
