MettaWorldDurant1ParticipantThe Knicks have been beating teams that they should which is a good sign because you pretty much dont know what you’re going to get from them as night to night play.. they kind of struggled with the Jazz. IMO the Hawks have a pretty good chance of holding on to the 8th seed UNLESS the Hawks lose a few more games than expected their fighting with the the Knicks for that spot .The Knicks MUST beat the Nets atleast once Raptors atleast once ; the Wizards game is a must win and its at home. Hawks Sched looks like CHI , CLE,DET,BOS,CHA all at home..all they really need to do is make a homestand and their safe. I find the game more intruiging when each game counts, so im rooting for the Knicks, how do you think this will playout?

Rip255I think the knicks will make the 8th seed. Im a conspiracy theoriest and think they’ll get favourable refereeing, but thats beside the point.
The NBA must be dreading an eastern conference first-round snoozefest, so at least a knicks-heat matchup will bring some $$’s and ratings.
I also think the Hawks are terrible and will lose more than they win, even at home. (Cavs, Bobcats, Bulls).

MikezParticipantWatch out for Cavs though, has the easiest schedule when it comes to Knicks, Hawks and the Cavs.

Rip255If the Hawks don’t make the playoffs, they get the 11th draft pick. Normally a playoff spot would be a better outcome, but in this draft you will get a good player on a cheap rookie deal at that pick.
Not a bad consolation prize since they’ll get swept anyhow.

Rip255Off topic but the Golden State v Dallas game has similar Western Conference implications too. If GSW lose, they’re only a half game ahead of the 9th seed.

MettaWorldDurant1ParticipantI wouldnt be surprised if Dallas won that’s my sleeper team, this year the west is really strong so you dont really see how good some of the teams are.

Ebown5ParticipantAs a Sixers fan I have been following the Knicks closely recently hoping for them to pass the Pelicans and give us a better pick. Unfortunately the Hawks have been playing so poorly of late that the joke may be on us. I think that the Knicks end up in the playoffs and the Hawks will fall behind the Pelicans.
