MSNYParticipantwith all these rumors swirling that the knicks and bulls want boozer, the jazz want to dump boozer to resign millsap, and the knicks are in the market for a PG i came up with a little 3 way trade scenario…
Knicks get:
PG Kirk HinrichBulls get:
PF Carlos BoozerJazz get:
SG Cuttino Mobley
PF Tyrus ThomasWhy this makes sense:
Jazz-get rid of boozer and make room to sign Millsap. Mobley’s salary is covered mostly by insurance so he frees up even more space for Millsap. Thomas is a raw young player with lots of potential.Bulls-get a legit #2 player in boozer to compliment Rose. Boozers expiring contract allows them to still be players in next years FA frenzy. They would have enough money to sign Bosh or Amare or resign Boozer.
Knicks-get a legit PG finally who can play both ends of the court. Gives them a player who a FA would want to play with. Maybe they can get Joe Johnson next year and have a lineup that looks like…
PG-Hinrich/Douglas
SG-Joe Johnson
SF-Chandler/Gallinari
PF-Lee/Hill/Jeffries
C-Hill/Lee/Curry….What do you guys think?

Knicksboy34ParticipantUm…I saw this on a website…credit your sources sir
and the Knicks dont wanna take a big contract unless it expires in 2010

gatorheelsParticipantThat would be an absolute disaster for the Knicks.

SDEParticipantMSNY swagga jacked a dumb idea; portland is Sick at what the grizz did to the last year wit D Miles and now they are getting back at the whole leage
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 10:19am #181368

gatorheelsParticipantBecause they lose cap space for 2010 which is a big NO NO. Hinrich won’t help the Knicks that much at all. They would rather spend their money on guys like LeBron, Wade, Bosh, etc…

MSNYParticipantnever saw that on a website, just made that up a second ago
you read enough websites and forums im sure you will see everything twice…get a lifei understand the whole idea that they dont want to take on a big contract, but there’s been alot of talk that we dont have the players to bring in a quality FA…so i figured taking on hinrich contract would help in that department
Gatorheels…why do u think that would be a disaster for the knicks?

Knicksboy34ParticipantSorry…a 16 year old kid with a torn ACL cant post here? I made my own site and whatever. Dont be mad because I called you out…
As a Knicks fan, your a disgrace….learn about the Knicks before you post….
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 10:58am #181423
MSNYParticipantyou called me out on some bullshit…i didn’t steal the idea from anyone, i came up with it and its very possible someone else did too
so don’t tell me to post a link or credit my sources…while your sitting there with your torn ACL go get the link and post it and say “i saw this idea here also”
and never once did i say you couldn’t post here…as a knick fan what the hell could you possibly know more than me? I understand the concept that everyone is so dead set on the knicks dumping cap for next summer, thats why this was an idea i threw out there to change pace from the whole lebron bosh wade sweepstakes everyones been talking about. Am I a disgrace as a knick fan because i didn’t come up with a plan that would end in every knick fans pipe dream of getting Lebron or Wade?

NYKnicksuperFanParticipantHeinrich is the anti- D’antoni PG not fast enough not good enough shooter, as for the Jazz youre losing in a Boozer-Tyrus Thomas swap
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:07am #181434
ckowalskiParticipantyea but the whole idea with a boozer swap is to dump his salary and free up cap space to resign millsap. I don’t think the jazz are necessarily looking for equal talent, just good value. I can’t see the knicks side of it working though.

Knicksboy34ParticipantYea. The 3 teams should be
NY, Sacramento and Utah. Or something like that. You need a team with alot of cap space.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:10am #181439

Knicksboy34ParticipantHow about this?
NY gets Kenny Thomas, Carlos Boozer
Sacramento gets Nate Robinson , Ronnie Price and cash
Utah gets David Lee( sign and trade) and cash.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:11am #181441

gatorheelsParticipantThat trade is close to being solid but Utah doesn’t want to trade their starting SG.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:12am #181443
ckowalskiParticipantI think that might be too complicated with 2 sign and trades. Also I’m surprised you didn’t have a team getting Curry or Jeffries in that trade haha.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:15am #181445

Knicksboy34Participantlol Curry lost 30 pounds!
Houston needs a Center, dont count that out.
Curry and Darko for T-mac…or something in that area
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:18am #181450
ckowalskiParticipantHaha I’m going to take that trade as a joke. I’m surprised you want T-mac on the Knicks after all the bashing too. If Walsh can pull that rabbit out of a hat he should probably be named GM of the Century, or at least the decade.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:21am #181456
MSNYParticipanti never said u didn’t see the trade idea somewhere else….i just asked you to post the link instead of trying to call me out(thanks for posting it)
just because you go to every rumor and forum site about the knicks doesn’t make you a more knowledgeable knick fan….but hey dude your 16 , go ahead and think you know everything about the knicks, i dont care.
Hope your knee heals up alright0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:22am #181457

Knicksboy34ParticipantYea, his contract is the MVP of the year.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 07/14/2009 - 11:23am #181459

Knicksboy34ParticipantMSNY, youre a knick fan.
Im sorry, my cockiness overtook thier…sorry man.
I thought you knew that the was posted before. It’s cool if you didnt.
Thanks, my knee is getting better.

Stanford hoopsParticipantyou forgot hinrick isnt a d’antoni pg because he actualy wants to play defense….see knicks boy youre not a true knicks fan..lol..(2 knicks fans argueing is always funny cuz of ya’lls passion for the team)…but on a serious note that trade doesnt work since the knicks arent tryna take on contracts that will extend past this year. More so since the cap is supposed to be alot lower after next season
