matthewanaya1ParticipantIf you go to my Power Rankings page (http://thehoopdoctors.com/online2/2009/07/summer-2009-nba-power-rankings/) at TheHoopDoctors.com you will see I have the Knicks dead last.
Thanks to Zeke the Knicks traded away their first round pick to Phoenix who then traded it to Utah (or something like that).
That is major news and the Jazz should be ecstatic.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantWell, they traded it in 2005….its 2009.
Yea but the Knicks have 2 2nd rounders.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:29pm #187986

llperezI don’t see them making the playoffs next year. That would be funny if the pick was top 5. Jazz would benefit big time.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantAlso, I have a hard time believing that’s your rankings.
You come on this site and post with a hip-hop pic and when I see your pic, you look a little older sir. And it says you work for many sites, why post here?

matthewanaya1ParticipantI’ve been coming here since 2000-20001. That’s me my man.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:45pm #188004
Basketballfuture22ParticipantOh ok, Cool then. I got one question for you then bruh…
Clippers at 10? Come on…I agree, Nice set of talent but Coach? Come on.
Also, you gotta move my Knicks back up…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:45pm #188006

knicks82Participantat least to knicks fans it is. What difference would it make if they had kept the pick? Because no matter who they pick, everyone would say “Man what a terrible selection.”
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:48pm #188008

matthewanaya1ParticipantThe Knicks are terrible. They have Lee (he may be gone), Chandler (not that good), and Robinson (bad).
Jordan Hill is good and Danilo will be good in a few years.
That is an awful team and in my estimation the worst in the NBA and that is why I could not believe they do not even have a first round pick.
Why would LBJ23 even consider going there?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:52pm #188013

ChiCityParticipantRobinson bad?
NFZ, you can’t be a credible basketball journalist.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:52pm #188014
Basketballfuture22ParticipantSorry but the Knicks are on the upswing.
Noone is giving Lee 10 mil…he may come back to us for 8. We may add either Ramon Sessions or Andre Miller at PG. Wilson Chandler went from 7ppg to 14ppg with more PT, he may start at SG. Gallo will show alot this year. Hill and Douglas will get modest PT and Harrington, Darko, Hughes- Whatever we get from them is a plus.
I think the Knicks can contend for a 8th seed.
0- Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:56pm #188017

matthewanaya1ParticipantNate Robinson is not a good player. His abilities consist of jumping and taking horrible shots.
The Knicks will not contend for the playoffs.
Hey, ChiCity!
Go Bulls!

sheltwon3ParticipantI don’t know you homie but there are a lot of reason coming now and especially if they can get Sessions. Lee will at least be there another year and by that time Hill will develop and noone will have much money to grab him except Portland maybe. Nate will stay with the Knicks. He had a chance to make 9 mill a year and pass on it. It was in Greece though so who knows. Mike D is a good coach and I think with a good point guard he can get this thing over .500 basketball wise. Also you also can have Tinsley in running maybe. That is reach because I doubt Walsh likes him but who knows.

matthewanaya1ParticipantKobe is the third best player in the NBA
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:57pm #188021

sheltwon3ParticipantBehind who. Dude you can’t just say stuff like that without a list. It limits your Credibility.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:57pm #188022
Basketballfuture22ParticipantI thought sports writer aren’t supposed to be bias?
NY will contend for a 8th spot if we a Lee Back and a PG ( I want Sessions) trust me, they were in contention last year….
0- Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 3:58pm #188025

matthewanaya1Participanthence the 8th pick in the draft

matthewanaya1Participant - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:01pm #188027
Basketballfuture22ParticipantThe Pistons won 39 games and they were the 8th seed
The Knicks won 32. Im starting to think your not a sportswriter you just picked a sportswriter and pretend your him.
0- Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:05pm #188034

matthewanaya1ParticipantThe Knicks finished in second to last place!
That is not in contention that is called being in the cellar.
Any team with Larry Hughes and Eddy Curry on the team is not going to win more than 33 games.
And I think they got worse this off-season because of the mess Zeke left them.

Basketballfuture22ParticipantLOL….How are you gonna say Kobe the 3rd best and you put up YOUR article…that’s simply your opinion
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:07pm #188036
FutureoftheGameHas the site been like this since 2001? Because, when i first started looking at it, it was just one page of the mock Draft and had links to player profiles.
0- Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:12pm #188043

matthewanaya1ParticipantI remember looking at it when Tyson Chandler and Eddy Curry were eligible. 2001?

Basketballfuture22ParticipantIn 1 post, you showed me your not credible. You just write how you feel, which is wrong if you dont have legit evidence and numbers to back up your statements in the sports world.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:09pm #188039
Basketballfuture22ParticipantPlus Derrick Rose is not the 5th best player in the NBA…
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:11pm #188042

llperezBut the KNicks are’nt gonna contend for a playoff spot. Sac should be the worst team in the league though. And Kobe/Lebron/ Wade are all arguable for who’s best. Personally, I think Kobe is the best. He rested a little in the regular season playing the least amount of minutes since he was a teenager, and then turned it on the playoffs and won the whole thing.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:13pm #188044

llperezi ‘ve been coming here for close to 10 years, I can’t really remember how long. But this site never had a chat forum before. Other then that, it has been basically the same.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:16pm #188047
FutureoftheGameYea. Just like a page of the Mock and links for the prospects. They never had this cool layout or the breaking news.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:24pm #188056

llperezThe mock was always solid and showed the player profiles. There would be a couple articles like team needs and stuff. I remember this site being listed in Sports Illustrated as one of the best upcoming draft sites out there like 10 years ago or whenever I first started coming. But now it is more of a year round site. The chat feature keeps it cool. Now if they could just add a fantasy league feature so we could go at it next season…?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/22/2009 - 4:28pm #188061
FutureoftheGameYea…i agree with the fantasy thing but sometimes that stuff gets out of hand and consumes ya. I would like a simple fantasy league where you just pick 6 players every week. A PG, SG, SF, PF, C, and 6th man. Then you just take their points, rebounds, assist, steals, and blocks and add them up. Then subtract TOs and fouls from the total. Then your player gets like 5 points if thier team wins a game. Who ever has the most points before the playoffs wins. YAY!!
