Knicks Have Advanced Talks With Wafer

Knicks president Donnie Walsh has had advanced discussions with Von Wafer, according to the guard’s agent.
Wafer averaged 9.7 points last season, and actually played for New York’s summer league team in 2008.
A source claims that the two parties are trying to arrange a visit to New York. Walsh is reportedly interested in giving Wafer a one-year deal worth the biannual exception.
Von Wafer is an excellent fit for the Knicks. I could actually see him averaging 15-20 ppg.

Von Wafer is a bundle of energy/scoring. Great fit for the system.
decent move but if they want to get Lebron next year they need than him in free agency.
I’d rather go for Gerald Green
Wafer’s is a good player but they should be focusing on signin Lee and/or Robinson. Both are more valuable and important
