    I’m sure Knicks fans expected this, but they also fired the entire coaching staff. I’m not a Knicks fan by any means but I do think a complete flip of the organization was needed.

    From the number 2 seed of the East to dropping out of the playoffs. Coaches should be held accountable if their team doesnt perform well. Its very evident that the Knicks players lost their respect and trust to their coach

     Good riddance. The guy was one of the worst X’s and O’s guys in the league (only a few grades better than Mike Brown in that respect). His entire offensive gameplan centered around giving their best player the ball on isolations (see Iso-Joe and Iso-Melo). You can’t win like that considering how refined scouting has gotten and how advanced defensive schemes are.

    I bet Mike Woodson will sleep alot better knowing he wont have to coach or watch J. R Smith one more min. That alone should make that knicks job easy to walk away from. Oh i forgot about Chris Smith too..
