This draft has been so difficult to project but it’s been just as fun.

Last year, I came 8th in the Draft Challenge. I don’t foresee anything close to that with the unpredictability of this draft.

Looking to post a final edited one the day before the draft, would appreciate comments!

It seems as though Ben Mclemore is dropping as he’s not in good shape, apparently Victor Oladipo has the upper hand according to Chad ford: “While McLemore might have more pure upside, I continue to hear that Oladipo has the upper hand. McLemore was in Orlando last week, but according to multiple accounts, his workout wasn’t terrific.”
Sergey Karasev more then likely won’t go past Cleveland because they need shooters which is Franklins weakness.
And do you really think the pistons will draft another combo guard?
Other than that its a pretty nice mock.

I’ve read the reports on McLemore, as well as Ford’s ESPN segment. However, the Magic are in complete rebuild. McLemore has the offensive force to equate to All Star potential, unlike Oladipo, who I see as a solid defensive 2 that can knock down shots a la Tony Allen. But the Magic can afford to take the risk on McLemore with their rebuild, considering they’ll most likely be in the running for the top pick next year.

And I agree about Karasev and the Cavs. They need someone who could potentially start at the 3 and play backup 2 behind Dion Waiters in certain lineups, which both Franklin and Karasev can do. I gave the upper hand to Franklin because of his athleticism, but Karasev could definitely take that spot from him.

The Pistons are a conundrum. Knight was initially pegged to be the starting PG for them, but he’s shown he isn’t the play maker he was touted in high school, but he isn’t a strong enough shooter to be a SG. To me, the Pistons can’t force Knight to play either position and he himself has to figure out what he’s better at. The best solution to that for me is to take another combo guard, who can make plays and play off the ball and allow Knight to settle into his position. It is a toss up however, with Muhammad, knowing Phil Jackson is advising them and he could advise them to take the risk.
