ZouldiersParticipantWell… even though it is considered a lopsided trade and the fact that 2k didn’t allow it, The Kings won this trade. They still got the "Next Stephen Curry" in Buddy Hield and the pick they got from the Pelicans turned into Justin Jackson and Harry Giles, who look promising btw. I know it’s not the right time since most of you guys are still outraged on Boogie’s decision but it is what it is.

The GoatParticipantI dunno, i still think the Pels got more out of Boogie last year than what Sacto have got back to date.. Hield, Jackson and Giles could yet be running a hot dog stand somewhere with Jahlil Okafor or reporting to Vin Baker at Starbucks

Andv1 WaitingParticipantLets put it this way Kings intially had the 10th pick.
What they finished up with was Buddy hield,Justin Jackson and Harry Giles….
The Pelicans initially had Cousins but let him walk after the Injury. However stats wise and Wins wise so far Cousins and the Pelicans won, as he gave them more than what the players the Kings ended up with…. The issue was they essentially turned Cousins into Julius randle and Elfrid Payton by letting him walk after F.A.
However if we look at it another way for a second it could be seen as this: The Kings had the 10th pick and could have taken Donovan Mitchell or Kyle Kuzma(who they could have also taken at 20) and Buddy Hield which would have looked a lot better than Justin Jackson(who didn’t get significant mins) and Harry Giles who essentially missed 90% of last season…
So who really won?

HitsterParticipantWe have to see what Harry Giles turns into and if he can get playing time in Kings frontcourt he’ll certainly be behind WCS, Bagley long term IMO.
Buddy Hield still looks more a good 6th man than potential NBA star to me, he turns 25 this year so should be further ahead than other guys in his draft year. Plus at a rebuilding team like the Kings he could have really staked a spot as a starter and a go to scorer.
I think Hield will have a nice NBA career and with his shooting might even blossom into a JJ Reddick type player but I don’t see him being a potential all star level player ever.
