youngmagParticipantLooks like the Kings caught another W today…..and Tyreke had20, 8 n ,8 they are lookin more team oriented without Kevin Martin…I think they should trade him for a nice SF. Oh yeah and yes those are good versatile PG numbers from Reke he is a future moving triple double. Thompson even did good today it was all around good ball.

j1232eParticipanton nba fast break said. Tyreke is not a point or shooting gaurd. I see him as a superstar small forward with his speed and athllectism.

youngmagParticipantMaybe because I would love to see him at the PG spot but the man is nice he is one of the very bright spots of this draft.

jeff416ParticipantImo the ROY is a three player competition between Evans and Jennings with Griffin having chance when he gets healthy.

llperezi watched the kings quite a bit and I think Evans looks fine as a pg. His handle is nice and he looks for his teammates. The Kings are looking real solid right now, Westphal has them competing. Beno is playing real well and I’m really liking what I see from the the rookie Casspi. He hit a tech ft in the 3rd quarter tonight and he was pumping his fists and yelling “YES!!! YES!!!!” for like 5 seconds, the bench was laughing.

TheFactionCoalition.comParticipantYou mentioned Mash and I think Mashburn does a GREAT job for ESPN. He’s a lot different than most of the ex-ball players in that he seems like a broadcaster first and pro second. He seems incredibly comfortable. He doesn’t have Barkley’s lines but he more fluid with his speech…anyway, Tyreke has some long arms and he could do well in the SF position in that he is strong and would match up pretty well defensively and offensively with most SF’s in the league (would have liked to see him on Durant but Andres was playing him really tough so there was no need.) When Martin and Garcia return I can see ‘Reke playing the 1-3 positions depending on who they are playing. When he learns to make layups and shoot he’ll be special. Someone mentioned Thompson having a good game…with teams like the Kings you can’t look at numbers, you have to realize someone is going to get the points and boards, you have to watch the game and Thompson had an awful game. I am dubbing him the “unfinisher” because he cannot make a layup and he seems a little awkward with his body. Like he just had a growth spurt and doesn’t know how to use his strength or size. He lacks a post game IMO and they didn’t have him facing the basket (which he should doo all the time) until the end of the game.)

rickyD510Participantcasspi was going crazy after the free throw cuz he hasn’t been making them. his 3 point percentage is better then his ft percentage. 9-19 on threes and 3-15 on free throws. lol

lalailaParticipantWhy ppl still calling Reke pg? Typical SG Typical sg size Typical scorer typical skills..why no one calling Wade as a pg and Chalmers as a sg?
Plus, agree jeff416 Reke showed he is in the same category with Jennings, Jennings showed he is nba ready and bucks is perfect place to put those type of numbers not even for a few games, and Blake is still the man. IMO Curry is not in that category, however i see FLynn to join this group
with four really good rookies this draft is might still little weak but not bad at all

quincey hodgesyeah reke looks alot better as a sg. also i think its more then just a three man race and have to include flynn and blair..blair will eventually get more time and though hes not scoring as much as the others he is getting boards…and flynn is right on the heels of both jennings and evans scoring wise…im sure others will get in the race because i remeber last year eric gordan nor westbrook started out too high on the list

lalailaParticipantbut don’t forget last years draft has potential to be one of the best..I don’t think this year will be so much 10+ppg scorers..
yes Blair also could be there, so we have top 5 but still with three little better than others, plus looking for the future those three has huge upsides.0 - AuthorPosts
