I was looking at the list of supposed PF’s available and I came up with a few trade scenarios for the Kings.  Which deal would you take and why?  The Kings apparently want a stretch 4 or a shot blocking 4 to pair with Cousins. So I’ve found 2 stretch 4’s and 1 shot blocking PF and 1 PF who can do both:

    -R.Anderson and J.Whithey for D.Williams and N.Stauskas

-E.Ilyasova and C.Delfino for C.Landry and J.Terry (can exchange Landry for Williams but Landry is from Milwaukee and in need of vets)

    – J.Smith and W.Bynum for D.Williams, J.Thompson and R.Mcallum

    -T.Young for D.Williams and N.Stauskas

     horrible…

the kings are not going to trade mccallum and especially not stauskas.  i believe they’d move mclemore before stauskas but i think they are set on playing positionless basketball (as their owner kept quoting in his summer league interviews).  jason thompson is practically unmovable with his horrible contract.

i would say the most realistic move they can make is move the expiring contracts of travis outlaw, jason terry and williams and picks to a team that wants to offload a player with a bad contract.

The Kings should just sign Charlie Villanueva. He’d fit in extremely well with that dysfunctional team.

I dont know why they didn’t draft Vonleh. In 2 or 3 years he would be the perfect complement to cousins. He rebounds, he can protect the paint and he should have a good enough jumpshot to spread the floor in 2 to 3 years if he develops. He is raw but I thought he would have been worth the risk for them

Perhaps they are thinking that their proximity to Oregon, his hometown, and the Cali connection, might be able to get K-Love to resign there if they were to trade for him?

As a Sixers fan I would be happy to trade him for Mclemore and filler. No way would the Kings trade Stauskus.

If you were the Sixers, you’d have to do that. The Kings won’t give up that much for Thad though.
