FreeJasonryParticipantI can see him being a poor mans Wade/Stoudamire (assuming he goest to Miami)… After watching the workouts with Cousins he seems to have a mid range jumper which will keep the defense honest and Evans is already establishing himself so it only makes sense. They have Dalembert who complements Cousins perfect. If they can pray for consistency out of Greene/Casspi that will be fine. Even Udrich showed promise with Evans last year.

HotSnotParticipantI figured as much. He is just to darn talented to slip past the 5 pick. Worst case Sac drafts him just to trade him later in the draft but no way he goes past five. He will probably be Sac’s first big off the bench untill mid season unless he drastcially outplays Thompson, Landry or Dalembert for a starters job. (i doubt it) The kings front court is looking pretty darn good with those guys up front. Casspi and Green at the SF spots and Evans in one of the guard slots. The last key component that lineup needs is a reliable 3 point shooter who can also create his own shot and work off the ball. Cousins really fills Sacs need for a “true” center which so few teams have now a days.
If Cousins comes away with 30 min’s a night this season he should challenge Griffin for ROY. Kings might very well end up with 50 wins if they get that 3 point/ break down shooter to play the other guard spot. Things are looking up.
