I May Be WrongParticipantyeah right unless they give up a first rounder for the next 2 seasons or something. K-Mart is a legit scorer and only way the Rockets would trade him is for a Center. Maybe Nene for Kevin Martin straight up

I May Be WrongParticipantProbably Chris Anderson but maybe they make a trade and try finding someone else. To be honest, I think the Nuggets are going to be kind of in rebuilding mode. I think Afflao is leaving for free agency, Chandler may get traded so they give Gallo more playing time, Kenyon Martin may try joining a playoff contender, Nene may get big bucks AND be able to play for a contender, and JR Smith may take his talents to anywhere he can get more minutes. Of course, I could be wrong and they all prove me wrong and they sign with Denver and continue to have the deepest team but if the Nuggets lose all that talent, then you have to look to rebuild IMO

KHAM83ParticipantI was just posting a trade idea I had involving Kevin Martin when I saw this topic. Martin is a great scorer, and I did hear analyst say that the Rockets would like to move his contract. Here is my trade idea, and no Im not a fan of the Pacers, Clippers, or Rockets.
Rockets get: Chris Kaman
Pacers get: Kevin Martin/ Jordan Hill
Clippers get: Danny Granger
Rockets get their starting Center in Kaman, who when healthy is an All-Star and has 1 year left on his contract. They also have Cliff Lee who can start at sg. Buddinger gets more minutes backing up Lee and Terrence Williams.
Pacers: Fills need at sg with a bonified scorer. Martin gives them what Granger did, but now Paul George can start and get his minutes. They also get a PF with size to compliment the talented, but small, Hansbrough. I would love to see Martin and Granger team up, but Indy is a small market team and can only afford one huge contract (check their history).
Clippers: Gets their starting SF in Granger. Their has been rumors of them moving Kaman for Iggy, but I like Granger here instead, who is a more efficient scorer and makes a little less than Iggy. Griffin-Gordon-Granger?

HobbyOGParticipantKevin Martin will never be an all-star, he is one of the most one dimisenonal players in the league.. Too many good guards out west that doesn’t make the all-star game. Ex Monta Ellis, avg over 20pts, and top 5 in steals..

mikeyvthedonParticipantKevin Martin is great, don’t get me wrong. He has his deficiencies (particularly on defense, where his lack of strength really shows), but he has done his thing. It is possible he could hack an All-Star game, though it would probably mean he were either a) Scoring more than he does already, b) Was on a teaming with legitimate Play-off aspirations or (and most likely) c) All of the above. He is a very nice scorer, he gets to the line a lot too which is great, but he should not be the best player on your team if you have hopes of getting very far. Funny enough though, he is actually the leader in PPG of the entire 2004 Draft class (outscoring DH 18.5-18.2 for there career). Still, I do not think Houston trades him for that little, that would be a terrible deal. Kevin does only have two more years left on his deal, and it is possible they could trade him, but trading him for an aging veteran and an undersized combo guard seems fairly counterproductive.
